Once you use that spell you can copy the excellent food and sell that over and over again. Aww, Stanley suffers so much!! Anyway, you can increase his cooking skill to 8 or 10 and be able to sell food from the pie menu.
copy pasto is the spell that *really* breaks the game. You don't have to brew potions, just copy them. Low on cash? Copy an expensive spellcasting tome a few times and sell the copies. No needs, infinite cash, sped up skill gain...game is easy.
I once had a spellcaster whose mother had been to Selvadorada and found a golden frog in the temple, and so whenever I needed money, I'd have the spellcaster copypasto it and boom. Enough money for bills. lol
i’ve noticed that happens at least once in every video; i think it’s just an editing error as the editor (Dan i think) might not know when she’s repeating a phrase cause she’s said it wrong or intentionally. just a guess tho

Lil tip: Delicioso makes spoiled food not spoiled, pretty handy if you forget to put it in the fridge. It's a very good spell and saves a lot of money. Esfregatus can serve to clean objects and sims, so you can just sort out your higiene with one spell. The repairo spell also helps increase the quality of plants. And you can use the fire spell to dry puddles and the water spell to put out fires.
I haven't played in a while so I don't remember the name but I know there's a spell that just straight up makes food. And it's connected to your spell knowledge so you can have 0 cooking skill and still make excellent food

Personally I read Glimmerbrook as a place in the forests of the PNW, similar to Granite Falls, so I use Outdoor retreat to build log cabins there oh and elecricity is cut on the lots cause why would spell casters use it?
It's fun to see Simsie excited about spellcasters since they're one of my favorite occults :). I personally love using the repario spell on floral arrangements so I can scent them with bluebell and have them forever easier lol. Highly recommend getting spellcaster discharge as one of the first perks so you can keep on casting spells. I also recently learned that Herbio spawns a lot more plants than just herbs, it even can spawn death flowers I was half expecting the first potion of plentiful needs to be a bad one that makes each need be yellow lol

As someone who’s also been on a bit of a spell caster kick recently (probably because of me rewatching BBC Merlin), I love how Kayla is starting to post more with them!!
I can't help but laugh every time Kayla purposefully makes Stanley die and then apologizes to him so sincerely! I was actually inspired by Stanley's dumpster diving episode to try a rags-to-riches with a Sim. We weren't as lucky as Stanley was, but he kept finding all of that burned-up furniture. Once I found out you could fix that furniture with the Repario spell, he went to be a spell caster for that reason only. We fixed up the junk furniture, and he sold that, and it turned out well. In my current game, I've just started with a spell caster (living in Kayla's crystal castle - thank you for that!!!!), and so far, it has been a lot of fun.

For those who may not now, you can plant various things indoors in a planter box, now. It does take up 2x2, but I was able to make a tinyhome with all amenities (though the garbage was outside the house) with 4 planter boxes, and managed to do a rags-to-riches all the way to having 1m simoleons in my account while still a Young Adult. I used the fishing site in the northeast corner of San Sequoia to fish up dragonfruit, planted them indoors 4 to a planter so they'd fruit all the time instead of just in Autumn, and sold them at 200% markup as-is, didn't even need to juice fizz them! (I also had a dumpster for my garbage and dove for things to repair / sell.)
You can also put them outside with just a roof over them! Build a 1 by 1 box, place a roof on it, delete box. The roof makes it count as "sheltered" without actually taking up space inside.
Yeah, use delicioso to make the food, use repario to make it better quality, and once you have something really good, copypasto it. (Way ahead on copypastoing ambrosia)
I’m so glad to see someone else encounter the weird arm glitch when they read books! It was one id never seen anyone talk about, so I wondered if some random mod had broken my game, this happens all the time to my sims. 🤦🏻♀️ Then they will not do anything until you reset them to fix their hand. 🙄
The magical realm looks empty. Kinda like that infamous Willy's Wonderland or what ever they called it. As if they got the location and some base items, but had underestimated the space and had to spread stuff out to avoid empty rooms. Or like the school project you started the night before deadline and then didnt have time for finishing touches. It fit the criteria, but only just. And I honestly think the developers of a big game like this should aim for more than a passing grade. I would love to see someone re-create that building as a shell challenge and see what people could make of it. ❤

just a tip, to not have to deal with the spellcaster overcharge thing, you can learn a spell that you can preform OR you can use one of the talent points to discharge yourself
kayla, in the future, you could get the discharge caster trait. it's in the caster tree, not sure how far in though. but it lets you discharge all your caster charge. might be useful c:
Some hot tips after watching the video: - You could get "discharge" with 1 magic point even from the start. So if your spell meter dangerously high, you can cast discharge on yourself to empty it all at once! - PRACTICAL spells are lifesaver I really love them. - If you are thinking about selling meals, or just too many sims like 100 baby challange you can get a big garbage trunk. You basically throw in empty glasses or dishes. And if you dive in for "DEALS", boom! Trashes changes to literally items of any kind. (Toilets,, sinks, counters, beds bathtubs, plants, decorations. Literally EVERYTHING can be collected from garbage trunk) - You could get your roof all over to your lot with "0" simoleons (Roofs are always free!) So you don't have to worry about plants seasons or else. - And familiars are very underrated. Having an active familiar, protects you from DYING once. But if you die second time while you have the buff, you "dandelly die" this time.(Kind of like cowplant. AND no, it doesn't protect you if you are dying to a cowplant.) (I'm also using a mod that makes your familiar gives you random inventory object every few hours in game. Very lovely, good mod.)
My head cannon is the Stanly just continues to have science babies with himself and everytime you start a new rags to riches or experiment with him it is actually in fact the next generation of Stanley. 😂 Also I love Spellcasters. I agree 100% with your build complaints, but the gameplay is so fun!
I enjoy playing with spellcasters. I like visiting the magic realm and having at least one of my sims build up their magic ability to help the rest of the household with spells.
I’ve noticed this a few times, and I feel bad mentioning it because I’m not trying to be mean, but a lot of times the editing in your vids aren’t perfect. You’ll say the same thing 2-4 times in slightly different ways and it feels obvious that most of them were supposed to be cut out but they aren’t. Most of the time it’s not that bad, but sometimes it’s distracting. That being said, I love your videos and watch all of your UA-cam content Kayla!!!
@@enidmuir693 I remember Kayla saying on stream it's not on purpose. It's just her posting daily and Dan being the only person editing her videos, so he doesn't catch everything while he's editing. I kinda think that she should have second editor, or at least a person who will check if there are mistakes.

And I don't want to be mean, but it's just plain bad at this point. I don't blame Dan for not catching it, he has hella lot of job and he streams himself, but she really should have someone check it. Or make less videos, but I know it would be terrible for the YT algorythm. Even HS (paid!) intern could be an option, anyone, just to check if there aren't repeats and write them down with timestamps to re-edit.
Spellcasters have always been my favorite occult. I've had them in NSB since G5. G9 heir was born without powers and I kept it that way because I didn't need extra random phone calls he had to accept for duels 🙃. For G6 it was a huge part of their character; evil criminal tech (I went Oracle branch) mage... Jasper and I had a blast 😄
a while ago when i attempted the super sim challenge (lost the save and gave up) the potion of plentiful needs was a life saver, no need to stop the skill or collection youre grinding if you have those stocked up
I’ve been using the sell table in my play-through and the easiest way to make stragglers leave is to click on your own sim and select ‘make everyone leave’
Two things to try, though I don't suppose that Simsie would do both since one is combining two things: 1. Dumpster diving and using Repairio on the burned stuff (which is the two things). 2. Having Discover University roommates (in a house that will actually serve their needs, which can be challenging sometimes) and selling the food that they magically will into their hands and throw around. EDIT: Oh no, and I just remembered a third. lol Spellcaster insurance fraud. lol Burn things with Inferniate, put them out and preferably with Chillio for the XP and to be more magical lol, then use Repairio on the burned stuff after you collect the insurance money. lol 😂
Even though little simsie genuinely hated the pack I still bought it. I really love the build mode items. The gameplay is a bit slow but it's worth it. Specially spells like scruberoo, inferniate and zipzap are fun. I also like the idea of being able to curse people. I wish the gameplay had more in the sense of bindi g familiars via orbs still doesn't make sense ro me. You can't really do much in the magical realm. And I hated some of the builds so I just downloaded lilsimsies shell of the school and re did it accordingly. It was a fun project. Now that I have realm of magic where you can use spells like floriate, the crystal creations pack and paranormal you could actually have dedicated gameplay class rooms like Kayla made in her build. I'm looking forward to purchasing the crystal creations pack.
I was honestly expecting this to be about the Dumpster again. Spellcasters can repair any broken item that comes out of the dumpster including the burned out furniture which is a great way to furnish your cashless homes/apartments/stores/restaurants. you can even summon food just to fill your dumpster with trash to dive more.
Since the jewelry pack came out, I've been playing nonstop spellcasters and I'm shocked i've not gotten sick of it hahaha! I made a goth witch named Onyx Basalt who is just happy to be alive and thriving, and she JUST gave birth to a werewolf baby, and my plans for this werewolf baby are that she'll eventually grow up living in Glimmerbrook and wonder about her origins and return to Moonwood Mill and begin investigating her people. And then she'll get into gardening, make money off of flower arranging, potentially open up a flower shop, and MAYBE also go into archaeology, but I'm not sure. I think I might also put her into either yoga/wellness OR knitting/cross stitch because a werewolf who gardens and cross stitches is amazing to me lmao. Edit: You can't get jet and I can't get friggin Jonquil... Jonquilyet.... Jonquilyes? Jonny Zest.

I have a pair of spellcasters that live in a treehouse. There are so many stairs that it would be a pain to actually live there if you had to walk up and down to each room. However, they can teleport so they just teleport from room to room and out into the yard to garden, swim and use the hot tub.

Realm of Magic is one of my favorite packs, the only problem I have with it is the same as most other packs they definitely could've had more lots in Glimmerbrook, or even had the Realm of Magic as its own separate world with lots.

I habe spellcasters even in my everyday gameplay, because other than vampires or werewolves you don’t actively have to be a witch… but if you want they are so so useful…
LAG TIP: I watch your VODs a lot and it seems like you’re struggling a lot with the lag when going from live mode, build mode, and cas :( when this happens to me, I just double tap escape (like to open and close the menu) and that usually helps when switching between the different modes! I hope that helps you!!
I almost always play as a spellcaster. One get-rich-quick scheme I use is to dig up those artifacts from Sulani and copy-pasto them 😂 I keep the expensive ones worth 490, 895+ and just make lots of copies haha

kayla, in the future, you could get the discharge caster trait. it's in the caster tree, not sure how far in though. but it lets you discharge all your caster charge. might be useful c:

Some hot tips after watching the video:
- You could get "discharge" with 1 magic point even from the start. So if your spell meter dangerously high, you can cast discharge on yourself to empty it all at once!
- PRACTICAL spells are lifesaver I really love them.
- If you are thinking about selling meals, or just too many sims like 100 baby challange you can get a big garbage trunk. You basically throw in empty glasses or dishes. And if you dive in for "DEALS", boom! Trashes changes to literally items of any kind. (Toilets,, sinks, counters, beds bathtubs, plants, decorations. Literally EVERYTHING can be collected from garbage trunk)
- You could get your roof all over to your lot with "0" simoleons (Roofs are always free!) So you don't have to worry about plants seasons or else.
- And familiars are very underrated. Having an active familiar, protects you from DYING once. But if you die second time while you have the buff, you "dandelly die" this time.(Kind of like cowplant. AND no, it doesn't protect you if you are dying to a cowplant.) (I'm also using a mod that makes your familiar gives you random inventory object every few hours in game. Very lovely, good mod.)
you can increase with spells quality of food as well and then sell it for more money. Plus if you have copypasto you can just copy expensive food.

My head cannon is the Stanly just continues to have science babies with himself and everytime you start a new rags to riches or experiment with him it is actually in fact the next generation of Stanley. 😂
Also I love Spellcasters. I agree 100% with your build complaints, but the gameplay is so fun!
I enjoy playing with spellcasters. I like visiting the magic realm and having at least one of my sims build up their magic ability to help the rest of the household with spells.
I’ve noticed this a few times, and I feel bad mentioning it because I’m not trying to be mean, but a lot of times the editing in your vids aren’t perfect. You’ll say the same thing 2-4 times in slightly different ways and it feels obvious that most of them were supposed to be cut out but they aren’t. Most of the time it’s not that bad, but sometimes it’s distracting. That being said, I love your videos and watch all of your UA-cam content Kayla!!!

@@enidmuir693 I remember Kayla saying on stream it's not on purpose. It's just her posting daily and Dan being the only person editing her videos, so he doesn't catch everything while he's editing. I kinda think that she should have second editor, or at least a person who will check if there are mistakes.
@@Noel.Chmielowiec 100% this. Its crazy unprofessional and I don't watch any other content creators who have this problem, let alone CONSISTENTLY have this problem. It totally takes me out of the video, and I watch every one of her uploads! :(
@@Katie-tw9nd I thought so too, I watch many people from different categories, some even edit their own videos and still make quite a lot of them, and I've never seen something like that. And I don't want to be mean, but it's just plain bad at this point. I don't blame Dan for not catching it, he has hella lot of job and he streams himself, but she really should have someone check it. Or make less videos, but I know it would be terrible for the YT algorythm. Even HS (paid!) intern could be an option, anyone, just to check if there aren't repeats and write them down with timestamps to re-edit.

Spellcasters have always been my favorite occult. I've had them in NSB since G5. G9 heir was born without powers and I kept it that way because I didn't need extra random phone calls he had to accept for duels 🙃. For G6 it was a huge part of their character; evil criminal tech (I went Oracle branch) mage... Jasper and I had a blast 😄
a while ago when i attempted the super sim challenge (lost the save and gave up) the potion of plentiful needs was a life saver, no need to stop the skill or collection youre grinding if you have those stocked up
I’ve been using the sell table in my play-through and the easiest way to make stragglers leave is to click on your own sim and select ‘make everyone leave’
Two things to try, though I don't suppose that Simsie would do both since one is combining two things:
1. Dumpster diving and using Repairio on the burned stuff (which is the two things).
2. Having Discover University roommates (in a house that will actually serve their needs, which can be challenging sometimes) and selling the food that they magically will into their hands and throw around.
EDIT: Oh no, and I just remembered a third. lol Spellcaster insurance fraud. lol Burn things with Inferniate, put them out and preferably with Chillio for the XP and to be more magical lol, then use Repairio on the burned stuff after you collect the insurance money. lol 😂
Even though little simsie genuinely hated the pack I still bought it. I really love the build mode items. The gameplay is a bit slow but it's worth it. Specially spells like scruberoo, inferniate and zipzap are fun. I also like the idea of being able to curse people. I wish the gameplay had more in the sense of bindi g familiars via orbs still doesn't make sense ro me. You can't really do much in the magical realm. And I hated some of the builds so I just downloaded lilsimsies shell of the school and re did it accordingly. It was a fun project.
Now that I have realm of magic where you can use spells like floriate, the crystal creations pack and paranormal you could actually have dedicated gameplay class rooms like Kayla made in her build. I'm looking forward to purchasing the crystal creations pack.

I had a couple a werewolf and a spellcaster live together and see how long I can have them live off their abilities. It was fun for awhile.

I was honestly expecting this to be about the Dumpster again. Spellcasters can repair any broken item that comes out of the dumpster including the burned out furniture which is a great way to furnish your cashless homes/apartments/stores/restaurants. you can even summon food just to fill your dumpster with trash to dive more.
I'd love to see like, a stream or a long video where Stanley can use any/all get rich quick methods and the goal is to get to 1,000,000 Simoleans
You have to copypasto the stuff after making them better quality the new stuff is gonna have the better price
Since the jewelry pack came out, I've been playing nonstop spellcasters and I'm shocked i've not gotten sick of it hahaha! I made a goth witch named Onyx Basalt who is just happy to be alive and thriving, and she JUST gave birth to a werewolf baby, and my plans for this werewolf baby are that she'll eventually grow up living in Glimmerbrook and wonder about her origins and return to Moonwood Mill and begin investigating her people. And then she'll get into gardening, make money off of flower arranging, potentially open up a flower shop, and MAYBE also go into archaeology, but I'm not sure. I think I might also put her into either yoga/wellness OR knitting/cross stitch because a werewolf who gardens and cross stitches is amazing to me lmao. Edit: You can't get jet and I can't get friggin Jonquil... Jonquilyet.... Jonquilyes? Jonny Zest.
You should use spellcaster and dumpsters to fix the furniture and sell them

Do you have a save dedicated to Stanley get rich schemes? It would be so funny to have a world completely full of different kinds of Stanleys! The nectar Stanley and dumpster Stanley could buy stuff off of magical food Stanley and so on 😂

Hi Kayla! I don’t know if anyone has let you know this but I have noticed that in many of your videos there seems so be an issue with the editing where you say the same thing more than once, it happened here 21:21 in this video.

I have a pair of spellcasters that live in a treehouse. There are so many stairs that it would be a pain to actually live there if you had to walk up and down to each room. However, they can teleport so they just teleport from room to room and out into the yard to garden, swim and use the hot tub.

A fun little trick: the copypasto spell also works on the money tree! I had like ten of those trees at some point, all thanks to that spell!

I can't believe after all this time I didn't know you could learn spells from books. Here I am constantly trying to practice magic to learn them!
Realm of Magic is one of my favorite packs, the only problem I have with it is the same as most other packs they definitely could've had more lots in Glimmerbrook, or even had the Realm of Magic as its own separate world with lots.
I always knew stanley was magical 🥰
She draws the line at selling Stanley's "siblings" but is perfectly fine with him eating his siblings.... Something doesn't line up here LOL

I habe spellcasters even in my everyday gameplay, because other than vampires or werewolves you don’t actively have to be a witch… but if you want they are so so useful…
LAG TIP: I watch your VODs a lot and it seems like you’re struggling a lot with the lag when going from live mode, build mode, and cas :( when this happens to me, I just double tap escape (like to open and close the menu) and that usually helps when switching between the different modes! I hope that helps you!!
magically growing and selling dragonfruit has always made my spellcasters rich
I almost always play as a spellcaster. One get-rich-quick scheme I use is to dig up those artifacts from Sulani and copy-pasto them 😂 I keep the expensive ones worth 490, 895+ and just make lots of copies haha
I think after you repair the item to better quality you have to make a copy/copypasto it and the duplicate will now be worth a higher value.
