The legitimacy of Hong Kong's sovereignty transfer in 1997 has significant flaws for several reasons: 1) the transfer of Hong Kong's sovereignty did not go through a public referendum, violating international regulations on changes in colonial sovereignty; 2) the Republic of China, as the successor of the Qing Dynasty, is the rightful party to the Second Convention of Peking, under which the New Territories were leased to Britain-this lease has no connection to the People's Republic of China; and 3) the Chinese Communist Party has repeatedly breached the Sino-British Joint Declaration, which served as the foundation for Hong Kong's sovereignty transfer.
LOL, in that case I suggest you enlist in the British Army and sail to HK and take it back! Fact is USnUK are now designated terror states sponsoring global ge no side, the west in general are not qualified to judge....and if you're a HKonger, then you should immigrate abroad just like the others "freedom" seeking individuals. Stop spewing western propaganda in here, many can see through the BS you are propagating!
