The reason Christians are not the richest in the world is also because while they are seated and listening to this message, the unbelievers are working and making money. Both God and money require our time, and the one you value more you will give more time. I think Christians value their relationship with Jesus more that making wealth, that's why they can close their shop and attend one week's church conference, spend good hours in church, Bible studies, worship rehearsals, etc. Thanks for the message. Grace becomes effectual when put to use!

Is it easier to pray for a job or create a job? Why do we think God can only provide us with a job but not an opportunity to create jobs for other people? There is a big difference between making money and the love of money. Unfortunately, many think that not having money is a sign of spirituality. They seem to forget that God created gold and silver and gave us the power to build wealth. Wake up, church!
The Men Who Built America: those super-billionaires were inspired by the spirit of Calvinism. That salvation is also evidenced by success on this earth. So they worked. They worked to succeed in any sector they endeavoured. Their success proves providence is with them.
Grace and work to be successful in spiritual affairs, relationships, marriage, academic, politics and leadership, business and investment, science and technology, ministry, parenting, sports, in all spheres of life is by God's blessing, grace and endless smart hard work .
Christians are wealthy. God's wealth is quiet, comes with humility, lots of giving, and submission to the lord will. It is not arrogant in its expression, and must be used for God's purpose; that is why many people think that Christians are not wealthy.
You say true. We're so rich in Christ Jesus. The healing, speeking in tongs, casting out demons, be baptise in holly gost etc.. are ours riches in God. Money is common good for everybody.

Now that you are saved from sin, work harder to bring many more souls to the kingdom. Meanwhile, wealth is one of the physical things needed to carry the gospel to the world. Thank you brother.
The most hardworking Christian under the grace of God may never be the richest in any area in this earthly life, because the goal of the Christian faith is not to make people rich in this world. We have indices of our own riches in the kingdom of God. It is not the wealth of this world. That said i understand the message this servant of a great God is trying to pass out. There are works God has assigned us to do by grace, yet the end result is not to make us rich or wealthy in this world. The hardworking Christian in any sphere of life may not make them the richest or wealthiest in that field by the standards of this world. Yet he/she wil still produce results that will leave an indelible eternal mark on the people in that field which in God's sight will be true riches.
No way! This mindset you have is exactly what has been fed into the church over the years! Christians in every field must aim at being the best and top. Do u know the importance of money in even ministry? You don't know that's why u are talking like this.
Nothing personal my brother. I wish you read slowly what I wrote if you will. I am not against Christians being at the top or being the best in their field. I am talking about the outcome of being the best is not necessarily the riches or wealth of this world. Secondly no body fed me anything, I am also one who studies the holy scriptures and seek to follow both the teachings and life examples left for us by Christ and his apostles. Thirdly I know the importance of money in ministry, I use money as well and God has given me some of it that I also use to serve His purposes on earth. By the grace of God I experience success and elevation in every field of life God has brought me into. That said the indices of our success as children of a God is different from that which the world call success. Much love dear brother.@@lifeinsights7695
GOD BLESS YOU FOR SHARING THIS WISDOM. I WAS SCROLLING DOWN THE COMMENT SECTION TO SEE A COMMENT WHICH REFLECTS MY THOUGHTS ON THE MATTER AND YOU HAVE DONE EXACTLY THAT. You cannot change todays world with a mindset of poverty and settling for less.Todays Christians believe in just God's grace the aspect of hardwork is missing.
@kwameadu7981 We don't want to change this world, which is perishing. We want to win souls for the kingdom where true riches are stored. John 6:27 NIV [27] Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God, the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
James 2:5 KJV [5] Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? Luke 6:20 KJV [20] And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for your's is the kingdom of God.
Riches people are not Christians because they don't spend their daily lives for prayers, rather richest people spend their time for thinking and make movement.
Do you see how Christians without spiritual discernment will be easly led astray by teachers!!! 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 " Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God's call." 2Thes 3:11-22 “We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the "FOOD" they eat.” 1Tim 6:8 "But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction." Beware of what teachers eloquently and subtly tell you!!!
According to you, God has been giving to the ungodly riches and not the godly. Look at nations that considered work ethics and good leadership in Asia and other parts of the world. These have prospered unlike some of our African nations with people packing churches and hardworking people but with a lack of good leadership and appropriate work ethic. Judge for yourself. It’s about working smart. Not working hard. It is about using our brain muscles more than our hands and feet.
So the kingdom is now synonymous with poverty? You didn't read in the Bible where God said He is the one who giveth thee power to make wealth? This attempt to associate poverty with Christianity is demonic
Paul might not be rich but he had contentment: Phil 4 vs 12. Covetousness is where the problem lies and that is why we cannot be generous even when we have accumulated so much. Paul said that those who pursue wealth for its sake fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts which drown men into destruction and perdition: 1 Tim 6 vs 9. Money is a necessity but believers should resist coming under the yoke of mammon by understanding that everything the eyes can see are temporary and should not have the same mindset about money as unbelievers.
Mensa has missed the point on this one in bringing in wealth matters. Right there where he quotes James, James speaks about poverty. He does not speak about poverty as a bad thing that makes God frown. Because for God, poor people and rich people coexist. There are very few rich people in the world. The rest, over 90% of the world population wouldn’t be described as rich. The Bible treats poverty as something we should respond to if we are rich. And actually the Bible speaks more favourably about the poor and poverty than the rich and their riches. God sees riches as a thing that passes. The truly rich man is he who has access to the riches of His Glory. These riches are not range rovers 😂
Why would God give his people the power to make wealth if it was sinful or demonic? This wrong concept of associating Christianity with poverty is the reason Christians are unable to accomplish much for God on earth. God said through prosperity will my kingdom be spread abroad. We can't even spread his kingdom because we reject the same wealth that he can give. We have been so indoctrinated to reject the wealth that God wants to give his people. Poverty, lack and want among God's people is the reason for all kinds of compromises, yet we continue to advocate for poverty. May God give us understanding.
Then what is 'grace' if it is based on works? Is it biblically correct to say grace becomes effectual because of works? I thought that the Word of God declares that we don't 'earn', but we 'receive' grace! I thought it was Christ who demonstrated to us what grace means. You are talking about grace and not 'faith', or are you not?
You preach what you don't live, the gospel with no power, you do what they can do best but what God has called you to do you can't, you copy the world speak like the world, prosperity is not money, prosperity is what God has done to you which money cannot buy, money is the buy product , e., g when God delever your family from infamities that's prosperity when God bring good people love you for who you are that's prosperity you are too much in money which a thief is living in prosperity and killing poeple to be rich mind set and focus must be on the Lord not things
If anything, riches will slow you down spiritually... Carefully study the scriptures wherever riches are concerned and you will notice with abundant clearity that the pursuit of riches is not only vanity but WILL be the reason of your spiritual demise and moral failure. Mark 4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
It is because wealth has NOTHING to do with religion. It is about doing certain things in certain ways consistently & continuously improving. Praying, fasting, night vigil, anointing oil, laying of hands, paying tithes and others are just church rituals.
The problem is not Christian being rich , the problem is rich people submitting to Christ. Do not forget that Our Lord Jesus termed money as master over people. Our generation has heard enough about how even pastors despise their congregation from whom they collect offerings as fools and lazy. I believe the gospel and Christianity center is not money and riches. I once heard the sermon from this Pastor preaching about " the word of God being a currency to purchase "
Man of God, can you tell us how many horses, castles and bank accounts the apostle Paul owned in his lifetime? I doubt the soundness of this teaching. Yet those who don't work hard shouldn't eat either. But comparing rich pagans and Christians is not sound doctrine!
Apostle Paul was engaged and sold 100% in the ministry of his apostleship. The tent-making he did was a godly, responsible, wholesome act of him to provide for his personal needs- as he says, not to be a burden to the churches though he could have required support of them. As such, his acumen, wealth and possessions are to be expectedly lower than any of his Christian contemporaries who worked and engaged the marketplace, employment, business as a full time occupation. Were Paul to live out his teachings and Christianity in the market place, while NOT engaging and fully occupied by an apostolic mandate/task/calling/job, He would easily have been a millionaire by today's valuations. The thrust of this message is for believers to live in a manner consistent with Christ's teaching. If we do, we will live in abundance. And not primarily be characterised with abject need. Especially African Christians. That said: - Main point, our standard of wellbeing is God's word. - Illustration, drawing a contrast between disobedient Christians' work ethic and hardworking heathens work ethic is definitely helpful.
The problem is only in Africa. Christianity has it self become a multimillion dollar industry. People are giving huge sums of money in seed, sacrifice, thanks giving etc. You cant bribe God. Some of the money is abused. The richest industry in my country Zimbabwe is religion and politics. No taxes are paid in these two industries that is why everyone wants to form their church or join politics.Meanwhile the followers are living in poverty, but surprisingly they defend their papas and political leaders with their lives.
Why would a true Christian aspire to be the richest person on earth, amassing billions of dollars while so many people live in poverty? A genuine believer would share a significant portion of their wealth with the poor, reflecting the teachings of Christ. This is why a true Christian cannot be the richest in the world-they worship God, not mammon.
Job 1:1-3, there was a man called Job who feared God and hated evil and Vs 3 he was the greatest man of all men to the East. You can be rich and be sprit filled and fear God and also share with others .
Well how can rich people become Christians when a counterfeit Gospel which promises riches if you believe in Christ is so dominant. A rich person will see no value in that message as they are rich already. So even the poor who are actually following this type of Gospel are equally lost even though they spend their time warning the pews. I believe when the true Gospel takes centre stage again we shall see the rich or even the poor be moved by it as it's hinged on the richness of eternal life instead.

Some richest Sinners are corrupt Thieves and dishonest in their business
That said:
- Main point, our standard of wellbeing is God's word.
- Illustration, drawing a contrast between disobedient Christians' work ethic and hardworking heathens work ethic is definitely helpful.
True christians are the richest people anywhere beacause Jesus is the true measure of wealth.
Because the preacher's would be busier expanding their churches.
