All these songs are straight up gems throughout Disney history. You can't listen to them and NOT get chills or nostalgia from them
oh yeah, these are truly gems of Disney music and may they continue like this making history with these songs and more..
I just sat here and watched this whole video.
In one sitting.
In bed.
Without getting up.
Without eating or drinking anything.
This is what spring break is doing to me.
I listened to it driving to and from the store, and while getting groceries put away. I paused it for the actual shopping.
Anything from the Disney Renaissance Era tops my list
Same.
Or the 2010s too. Zootopia, Moana, Tangled Frozen & Frozen 2. So many good tunes.
It goes without saying that a lot of these Disney songs are absolute classics! they played a part in our childhoods!

no Son of Man? No Shiny? And putting a song from High School musical anywhere above Hellfire is wrong
Really love that "When You Wish Upon A Star" is so high on the list. That song is pretty much Disney's theme song, just like Tinker Bell has become Disney's mascot
"Baby Mine" is the song I sang to my daughter as a child, but my all-time favorite soundtracks remain to be that of Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid.
Colors of The Wind may be some of the most underrated Disney songs to date. Pocahontas seems a bit underappreciated as well.
👏 i love Pocahontas!! & Colors of the Wind is one of my favorite Disney songs.
That whole Tarzan soundtrack is just perfection - but than again, what did you expect with Phil Collins singing it 😍
Brother Bear is always overlooked. Great movie and great soundtrack. Phil Collins did an awesome job, yet this hardly ever gets the credit it deserves.
What did we learn from this list? That The Lion King (1994) is a masterpiece & it's direct to home video sequel (1998) was underated.
Oh yeah, The Lion King is a masterpiece and with great songs also its sequels.. I like Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, We are one and He lives in you
Def would’ve found room for We Are One on this list as well. It’s in my personal Top 30.
I'm surprised to not see My Lullaby on here just because a lot of people definitely seem to praise it. :o
Zira frightened me as a kid so I've yet to even watch LK2 from the beginning all over again, LOL. xD
Tbh, I kinda wish they didn't count things from things like HSM...I don't know why I was expecting only animated or films like Mary Poppins, but not HSM and stuff. Guess it wouldn't make sense to leave some in and others out though, so.../shrugs
@@familyoftacticaldroids309 They mentioned it on another list. Clearly someone there is a TLK buff, mentioning Simba's Pride in lists.
Part of Your World isn’t just my favorite song from the Little Mermaid but it’s just generally one of my favorite songs
I can guarantee that about fifty of these songs have a permanent spot on my phone. I love Disney songs, as they (like for so many other modern singers) have provided the first songs for us to learn and sing to as kids. Today, I have been praised for my vocal chops by many people, and have written songs myself, all because Disney gave me the inspiration and the reason to love music. I have used songs like "Go the Distance", "Colours of the Wind", and "Let it Go" in lesson plans for my past teachings, as they show some significant life lessons. Some fun facts here, though? Angela Lansbury performed "Beauty and the Beast" IN ONE TAKE! That's how good she was. A local charity once used "You'll Be In My Heart" as its commercial song to promote awareness for autism in children. And, also, Phil collins was apprehensive of not singing a good portion of the songs he wrote for Tarzan, but got his redemption when he became just the fifth man in history to win a Grammy and a Golden Globe, and get nominated for an Oscar for the same song.
“I’ll Put A Spell On You” from “Hocus Pocus” is a bewitching classic.
I thought colors of the wind was going to be at least top 10. So underated
I knew Circle of Life would top this list. It's a huge deal to me since childhood and I still love it in the present time.
I'm Very excited to see how high "Under The Sea", "Be Our Guest", and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" are ranked. They're all so influential ant some of my favorites.
The Long King II: Simba’s Pride is my favorite Disney sequel. Gives me chills for that opening. I love singing along to He Lives in You
A Whole New World from Aladdin, Show Yourself from Frozen 2, Out There from Hunchback, Strangers Like Me from Tarzan, and Can you Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King are my top 5 (in no particular order).
Keep the ear worms coming Disney! Here's to 100 years and counting! 🎉❤🥂
Disney may have lots of dark moments, broken fourth walls and adult jokes, but when it comes to the soundtracks I can't help but fall in love with the songs and the messages behind it. I love relistening to my favorite songs.❤❤ Thank you MS MOJO
Colors of the wind in #55 is just madness, what the hell
Alan Menkin’s music is the soundtrack of my childhood.
Also I think “Out There” should have been wayyyy lower on this list. It’s by far one of THE BEST Disney songs ever.
An hour of Disney finest songs. I loved this 100 top songs. I was hoping for Be Prepared to be higher but that's my only complain.
My favorite movie was and still is Beauty and The Beast and I'm glad that the title song was that high in the ranking and I loved how the Hunchback of Notredame had so many songs, I mean all of them are classics and amazing.
I love all of these but especially Tarzan’s “You’ll be in my Heart” Mary Poppin’s “Feed the Birds” and of course Jimminy Cricket singing “When you Wish Upon a Star.” These songs are so well composed that they bring out my emotions-even though I have heard them over and over again they still bring a tear to my eye! Thank you for all of your hard work with these!!
I'm glad "Eye 2 Eye" made it on this list! Though "A Whole New World" needs to be high on this list. Those are 2 of my all time favorites
I went to see The Lion King when it was re-released to theaters in 2011 (I chose the 2D version). I loved the opening as a child, but got chills as an adult. Not only the song, but the artful animation, and the sunrise slowly lighting up the dark theater. Then that BOOM at the end.
So did I. Totally forgot I saw 1994’s The Lion King in 2011 of its Re-release at the time. Saw it with my nanny
I wish Oogie Boogie’s song could have made it on the list isn’t so catchy any time it’s mentioned even briefly by anyone it just starts playing in my head 😍
Colors of the Wind at 55 is outrageous.
“Best of Friends” from The Fox and the Hound is an underrated Disney song.
No Brother Bear songs...😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Phil Collins was awesome in those! From "Look Through My Eyes" to "No Way Out" Such an underrated Disney movie and my all time favorite!
I LOVE the soundtrack of Brother Bear. Used to watch it all the time on VHS when I was little
I get it why Circle of Life is on the top spot - it's because people of all ages and genders love it. It's so iconic.
As an indigenous woman, colours of the wind is moving (even though the movie isn’t very accurate) Show yourself is basically the same for me. Actually just the whole frozen two songtrack.
It really is a tale as old as time. Not only my favorite Disney movie, it’s my favorite movie
Oliver and Company is massively underrated.
Why Should I Worry should be in the Top 20 at least.
Once Upon A Time In New York City, Streets of Gold, and Good Company should have made the list too.
I don’t even like the movie itself a lot, it’s okay just not too high on my list, but Why Should I Worry is an incredible song.
Omg I swear you never realize how many Disney songs came out of the mouse house until you put them all in one epic and magical list💗I mean yes there are some songs missing but this list covers all the ᴛᴏᴘ ʜɪᴛs! Got all my favs for sure❤
No ' Son of Man ' ? 100x more iconic and symbolic than some songs listed...
Hoped ' You got a friend in me ' and ' Colors of the Wind ' would be higher. Such masterpieces. But I am pleased with top 5
With all the songs they've said. I'm surprised that I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book didn't make the list. I mean, that's my favorite song from The Jungle Book and Louis Prima delivered his sweet jazz performance to King Louie in that song
THIS so much!
That song is possibly more iconic than The Bare Necessities and it's a Disney Classic anthem.
While i can't agree for at least half of these placements, the two things that bother me the most are the total absence of I Wanna Be Like You and Colors Of The Wind at the 55th place!
I know this was a ton of work but thank you for making this, I really appreciate this. We are all so lucky to have so many wonderful songs in our lives!
Goosebumps every time I hear the drop in Circle of Life!
You have no idea how much I love the song This Is Me. It’s not just the nostalgia but I know to myself, I feel the same
Love to see the Hunchback. It's easily my favorite of all the Disney soundtracks. Alan Menken is crazy talented
As much as I love Mulan, it was awesome to see Donny Osmond (singing voice of Li Shang) in concert
I forgot how much good music Disney puts out in their movies sometimes
Man! I got all emotional over Candle on the Water and then I teared up when Someone’s Waiting For You came on!! 😭😭😭 Two very sweet but emotional songs back to back! Very hard on my emotions!
Whoo! Why Should I Worry has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Can’t help but dance. Honestly, who doesn’t like Billy Joel?
The Nostalgia is real.
Big time. Disney made a huge impact on me since I was a baby. Might be 24 but I’ll never grow out of it
I was amazed that the number 1 was Circle of Life, I was very uncertain and scared that it was not on the list.. My favs Lion King songs are this, Hakuna Matata and We are one.. My other favs songs from my other favs movies are: Let it go (I sang it a lot as a child), Show Yourself, Into the Unknow, The Next Right Thing, Almost there, Speechless, the unforgettable "You got a friend in me" and When she loved me, Waiting for a miracle, Surface Pressure, What else can I do?, When I will begin my life?
When will my Life Begin, not when will I begin My life. LOL. You had it backward.
@BG I LOVE YOUR FAVS! Especially Show Yourself, Let It Go, What Else Can I Do? and The Next Right Thing.
I can't wait to see this video oh my gosh. I love stuff and I love your content so I hope you guys keep making more and more and more and more and more and more videos
41: Doubt it “Let Me Be Good to You” is going to be on this list. I just don’t care of the word underrated. I love that song since I was a kid
Thank you for making the number 1 song number 1. Best song from one of the best Disney movies ever 🙏👍
Colors of the Wind is entirely too low. One of the best Disney ballads of all time.
First thing for Encanto, everyone applauded in theaters when it’s Disney’s 60th Animated Movie. It really showed it’s the best since 2021 and from the thanks of Lin-Manuel Miranda bringing the music
I love every one of these songs! Makes me want to watch all these Disney Movies all over again
Colours of the Wind #55? That has to be an April Fools Joke, right?! One of the most popular and critically acclaimed songs in Disney history! The lyrics are unique and not like any other Disney song and the animated backdrop is stunning. You really messed up here.
I was really shocked too. I mean, "Mother Knows Best" was one spot above it? C'mon. It's not as iconic. And even Hercules' "Go the Distance" was dozens of spots above it too? Puh-lease!
I stoped watching when I've seen God help the outcast lower than descendants and high school musical, since my internal music critic died of injustice 😤 Not to mention the other examples of injustice...
@@Emeret.I honestly think you can't mix Disney Channel and Disney Animation. The songs are very different, they don't aim for the same public. The stories are very different too, and as much as I love Disney Channel, you can't compare with Disney Animation.
It should have been two different list, one special Disney Channel and one for Disney Animation.
Because there are amazing Disney Channel songs that aren't on this list, and the same goes for Disney Animation!
@@sophielem59 Exactly! It's like a two completely different leagues! Like weights categories in sports or something like that, but in music!
Gotta agree. Plus everyone has their own opinions so to say that these are the 100 isn't fair
Just bring me back to my childhood such a classic film ❤
I had a feeling You’ve Got A Friend In Me would rank high on this list. I saw a cute performance of boys dancing together dressed as Woody and Buzz Lightyear to this song. It was a long time ago but I still remember it
I just saw Wish, Disney’s 62nd Animated Movie, and I LOVE it! Blew my mind away, magical and touched my heart
Wish On My Way from Brother Bear was on this list!
Film is so underrated!
My absolute favorite Disney song is "Bella Notte" from my favorite Disney movie/movie in general "Lady and the Tramp" and I am so happy it made the list (not too thrilled about its placement but oh well). You're right to say that the movie would not be what it is without it and that rings more true when you find out that the spaghetti scene was almost CUT entirely out of the film cause Walt wasn't too sure if people would buy 2 dogs falling in love over spaghetti. Fortunately, legendary Disney animator Frank Thomas animated this scene so beautifully and so perfectly hitting all the right emotional beats, etc (imo) that it convinced Walt to keep it in..and the rest, as they say, is (Hollywood and Disney) history.
100 Disney Songs. I love Disney. TY for this
I miss the old Disney so much. Back then, they weren’t afraid to write songs about sensitive subjects in order to teach young children life lessons. You don’t really see many catchy songs nowadays dude to cancel culture.
they definitely do write songs about sensitive subjects still have u even seen encanto?
I really cant get enough of the soundtracks of Aladin, Beauty and the beast & The lion king. thats why it triggers me that Prince Ali is only ant number 79 haha
The song A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes, itself is a classic but I love the version with Disney Channel Pop Stars
Feed The Birds was Walt Disney’s favorite song and often asked to have it played for him. My all time favorite Disney song ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sees #95, YES! It made the list! Loved that song since I was little.
Some of my faves are: Hawaiian Roller-coaster Ride (Lilo & Stitch), You're Welcome (Moana), I just can't wait to be King (The Lion King), Colours of the Wind (Pocahontas), I'll make a man out of you (Mulan), Be Prepared (The Lion King), Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid), Beauty and the Beast (Beauty and the Beast) & Circle of Life (The Lion King).
HILARIOUSLY, you happened to rank right my 2 favorite Disney songs (He Lives in You and Hellfire) right next to each other!🤣
Speaking of Disney songs, my dad told me a funny story. While watching boxing on TV with Uncle John, one of the boxers came out with the song A Whole New World playing. My dad and uncle found it hilarious but in the end, the guy won
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!
This will be exciting!
All of these many timelines songs from some of my favorite Disney films each have a special place in my heart ❤️ and I cherish each one of them as a precious memory thanks for sharing this masterpiece of some of my childhood favorites 👍❤️🎵
As a kid, I remember my mom cried when Baby Mine played
1 hour video, and a 100 songs?! I'm gonna have to grab popcorn for this.
The Best way to start off this month, it Even has songs i didn't knew existes in Disney history. Happy saturday Ms Mojo and it was a very good top as well. Take care and God bless you, hope i see you soon for more, greetings from Colombia.
“Someday My Live Action Movie Will Come”
My favorite Disney songs will always be all of the How Does A Moment Last Forever, Days In The Sun, Down To The Sea, Be Prepared and Where You Are
Beautiful trip down childhood memory lane. ^_^
Wow I’m so excited for this, I love Disney music.
You’ll Be In My Heart -number 7. You’re getting me teary eyed. Not only that I love this song but seven is my dad’s lucky number
Kinda wish you talked about The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind. Not all Disney Villains are voiced by legendary actors but Vincent Price takes the spotlight since the 1980’s. The movie itself might be underrated but it’s fun to watch
that was amazing
Where is "I've got a dream" from TANGLED?
Thanks you & I love your videos
I had a lot of Disney Movies on VHS when I was a kid. When it came to DVD, I have a fun memory I’ll never forget. It was Easter, I woke up and there was a Easter Basket on the right side of my bed. It had the DVD’s of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (along with the Scream franchise)
I remember when I was a kid, my mom was dancing to Why Should I Worry
I introduced my dad to the song I’m Still Here and he loves it
Beautiful number 1 well deserved, I love Circle of life so so much ❤
Love this
this the longest list you've done good work
Glad eye to eye is included and he lives in you(The lion King 2 is my favorite disney sequel) and 2 songs from descendants, and I don't Dance(my favorite high school musical song) and You'll be in My heart is just my overall favorite Disney song. But overall happy about this list.
Very good msmojo
great video these are great disney songs
Hell Fire better be on here. Same with Everybody wants to be a cat
Narrowing the list to 100 had to be difficult! One which has stuck with me is Inderchelly from Cinderella. Not profound but bouncy and fun!
Thanks for the old favourites and the ones which were new to me.
Not much of a fan of Disney child stars, but I'm so glad the songs from animations are all here! Quite a perect list, especially from 10 to 1! ❤

Man or muppets
Hi
what about the brave little toaster!? cutting edge, worthless, super highway are amazing songs from a great forgotten disney movie :3
Doesn't anybody feel bad that Walt couldn't have been alive for his 100 years all of the TV shows and movies that's been created by Him and other people
Mine has to be "Nobody Like U," "Immortals," and "Try Everything"
