How many of the protesters are NOT students? I bet it's actually a high percentage of non students in these protests.
I mean, this case at UCLA is 100% American LARP-Revolutionaries seeing what happens on 1st of May in European Countries since the 1920s and then use that as an excuse to participate in the traditional "1st of May" Protests that are culturally both a Protest Day for the Right, Left and anyone inbetween here in European Countries. But in the USA it seems the majority of Protesters are just privileged Kids from at least upper middle class families
I'm German and like all Europeans i gotta say that this UCLA Protest including the "Violence" and the Riot Police carefully cleaning it up was soooooooooo peaceful in Comparison to the yearly May Day Protests in every major of the 44 European Countries Cities.
So when watching Chat's Reactions being like "Oh my God!" meanwhile my European Brain having seen experienced casual May Day Protests here where Molotov Cocktails fly at the Police, Riot Police literally go Tekken 8 on Protesters etc. it was quite the Experience
I wish our Protests were this peaceful in Europe. But we Europeans do these since the 1920s on a yearly Basis, so sadly the Violence became an annual Tradition
For those curious. Just youtube "1. Mai Protest Gewalt" for German stuff or "1st of may protests" and then add whatever European City. I definitely recommend Paris and Athens for extreme WTF Moments, and then look back at this UCLA Stuff and be happy you live in the USA haha

@@TheMitcher False. New stats are out about those arrested on the campuses in the past few days. I dont remember the exact number but the number of non students to students was craaazy. Its mostly people going to campuses they do not even attend, to get seen on TV and the news. They also dont care at all about the destruction they do so thats also why they dig up dirt, throw trash cans, light American flags on fire and throw rocks into locked parts of the campuses to break in.

For all I care they could literally all unalive left and right as long as my country ain't getting attacked. US president is another issue in itself and he is a problem that needs to be removed.
@@eavocado5890pppjIt not an "apartheid regime" it's an "occupying power".
It would be like calling the U.S. an apartheid regime because we imposed certain conditions on the Iraqi population in the early weeks of the war.
It really only would apply if apartheid conditions were also in the mainland United States.
Israel is occupying Palestine, therefore it is imposing those conditions onto the Palestinian population because a peace deal hasn't been signed or adhered to in order to end the conflict.
It would be an apartheid regime if Israel annexed Palestine proper and continued to treat Palestinians the way they have been, but they haven't annexed Palestine yet.
It's a technicality but an important distinction to make if we want to end the apartheid-like conditions imposed on the Palestinian people.
To end the apartheid-like conditions, Israel needs to end their occupation, in order to achieve this quickly, the Palestinians of Gaza and the Westbank need to unify under a singular government again, and there needs to be a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine.
If this does not happen, it is likely that there will be no peace and the endless fighting will continue.

for nearly 17 years Gaza has been blockaded by Israel, controlling what goes in, and what goes out, on rare occasions do Gazans get to leave. Ham4s attacks israel on Oct 7, bypassing the blockade and kidnapping hostages, causing the death of both civilians and idf soldiers. i've seen videos of the attacks, and while it is tragic for the innocent lives, they are nowhere near the level israel is claiming, citing ridiculous things such as r*pes and baby b*headings. about 1K israelis were killed total.
israel does not take this lightly, and proceeds with bombing gaza, giving Gazans very little time to evacuate, and indiscriminately bombing despite KNOWING the presence of civilians. This has led to a staggering 30K gazans killed, most of which are women and children.
this has sparked thousands of protests and call for action against israel, as israel has received over $200 billion of aid from America alone.
Not to mention that Israel has turned down a permanent ceasefire in exchange for the hostages, making it clear that it's not about the hostages.

Protestors getting clapped isnt ideal but they also don’t care because if they do get clapped it also serves to symbolize oppression, violent events cause positive publicity for their cause especially if it’s cops on protestors and brings out emotion which is exactly the goal, it also brings out more protestors who otherwise wouldn’t go. I think there’s a lot of misinformation being spread. I know people who actually attended these protests, were allowed to by the universities, and were assaulting by Pro Israeli rioters.
There are pro Israeli attackers playing loud music at early hours, firing fireworks into the crowd, spitting and yelling at passersby people, and literally attacking them. I know people who are actually attending this peacefully and are scared for their own safety due to counter protesters. Most of the peaceful protestors are actually students whereas counter protesters are primarily non-students (some who don’t even have university education).
If you think this is bad, imagine the sort of circumstances we are creating in foreign countries due to our foreign policies. Not sure why everyone in this country is willing to fight for Israel but cant seem to spend a couple hours to do proper research on who’s actually looting their countries.
