you gotta test drive this beast to appreciate it! I drive tested this one before the pandemic, uphill.. you won't even hear the engine roaring while climbing it's like ur driving on city road... I suggest you test drive one and then you can tell if it will appeal your senses. I'm impressed with its 2.0 bi-turbo engine myself!!! what more if they put the Mustang engine V8!

I have a 2 liter ranger wildtrak with 6 speed manual trans here in the Philippines only a few were released though it aint a raptor its still fun in drifting the trans is rated up to 500hp and 900 torque but the stock ranger here is 210hp and 500nm torque bi turbo diesel

Ohh, some people is upset because Engine Warning Light ! Take it ease, if ECU/ECM doesn't put engine in Emergency mode ( cant rev,cant move), smile and dont get crazy. If an Emergency mode, turn ignition OFF, count till 5 and turn engine ON again.( just to erase warning) Be happy.

By the way, Ranger Raptor is made till now at Southeast Asia( Thayland) for Europe , South America, Australia. So Speedometer is in Km/Hour. It will be change to Miles if US adopt it !! Don't hesitate !!BUT take care engine is an european version, just 4 cyls and 213 HP and 500 Nm.

I somewhat have an idea that's I said. Besides, I've seen multiple endeavours here in Pune with the customer black grill and glossy black alloys. In fact, even one of my friend who recently purchased the same car wanted the black grill. Sadly the dealer didn't have it in stock and my friend didn't want to go for an after market fitting. If not a full fledged production model, Ford India can definitely sell it as a limited edition model similar to what Skoda has done with Octavia vrs. The large black grill does enhance the look of the vehicle. I don't see any reason why people won't buy an SUV with a rugged heavy duty look.
