How to install a Strut Tower Brace from Nameless Performance on a 2016 Subaru Outback

SUPER easy installation of this strut tower brace from Nameless Performance on my 2016 Subaru Outback. Literally just remove & replace 4 nuts.

With those strut towers being so close to the firewall, the strut tower brace probably doesn't really add much further rigidity.

Probably not, but it looks cool, and sometimes that's all we can ask for. :)

Also, do you not use a torque wrench so it's even from side to side?

Great question! Yes, I went back after the video and properly torqued them down. My battery was low and I was in a rush to pick up my daughter, hence the rushed video. Not my finest work. 😂

You know the torque specs ? Wonder if there's Away bar up grade out there

If memory serves I think proper torque is just under 15 ft-lbs, like 14.5 or 14.8 or something. I did 15 and it seems fine.

Do you notice a big change in body roll?

Not big, but some. Hoping to find time this weekend to really out it through its paces. I live in OKC which is largely grid-based, so have to go out of my way to find some appropriately curvy roads.
