The restaurant is based on Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. In the literature, Captain Nemo was originally named Prince Dakkar of India before he donned the name Nemo (meaning "No Name" in Latin from the translation of the The Odyssey). Throughout the space there are several nods to Captain Nemo's past. For example, originally he was written by Verne as a Hungarian prince before the French censors forced a rewrite as an Indian royal due to the Franco Russian alliance - thus we used many art nouveau elements (known as Secession in Hungary) to nod to the Hungarian history. A caviar dish atop baklava also shows up on the menu to nod to Captain Nemo's choice of the name Nemo from the Odyssey. And so on and so forth.
Why there is playing indian music?? 😮😮 that is also spiritual one
