- Extended highlights from the Gtech Community Stadium, where Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a 4-1 victory.
Darwin Núñez put the visitors ahead in the first half, before Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah extended Liverpool's lead after the break.
Ivan Toney pulled one back with 15 minutes remaining - the striker's fourth goal in five Premier League appearances - but Cody finish four minutes from time dashed any hopes of a late Bees comeback.

This is a sign that while we are getting back together, it is slow.

What’s the point of extended highlighted without commentary 🤷♀️
Football doesn't need commentary.
More than half the tv commentators in UK are terrible
@@paenumbra u made me blush 😳
@@duran9664 Don't need to, just my 2 cents 8) I prefer gameplay sounds, especially since we have several mics around the pitch...
Well, it was a tough game and once again we are not being clinical enough when we get our chances.
It was a reasonable performance, but there were some pretty bad mistakes which led to the goals. Okay, slipping at a crucial moment is very unfortunate, but neither player going for a ball where the Liverpool player showed his intent is a bad case of misunderstanding re the third goal. Nathan has to take the blame for the fourth goal as he basically missed his kick and then there was not much that he could do to save the situation.
I felt that we were not that stable in defence and, personally, I felt that we really missed Ethan who has generally been very sound for us this season. It is unfortunate that we will be without him until after the international break at the end of March.
To be honest, I did not really feel that it was a 4-1 defeat as there were some good passages of play from us, but at the end of the day the end result is all that counts.
Some of the other guys who are coming back into the side are really going have to step up and help out the team.
The game against Manchester City is not going to be easy, but with a good all round performance and a good portion of luck who knows what we might be capable of. In such a game we are really going to have to take our chances when they come our way.
Keep the faith!
