Very well done Doc, excellent explanation for the lay person. Have done one for the difference between an MRI and CT. That's the question I get all the time.
--As sn MRI tech/past CT tech. I approve this message with extreme promotion.

Thank you for your amazing content, Dr. Webb! Your videos are informative and encouraging for pre-meds like myself.
I am completing my undergrad in San Antonio. Would it be possible to shadow you? I know this is a long shot but I wanted to ask!
    Keep up the great work!

Dr.Webb, how can me and another minority shadow you? I’m currently wanting to be a PA, but I love medicine and I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida, but would fly down man, your motivation means the world to me!

Can you make a video on your thoughts if they are withholding the cure for cancer and go more into depth of why it’s so hard to cure cancer

Physicist here. MRI causes the hydrogen in your body emit "lights" (which are used to create the image). Because hydrogen concentrates in the soft tissues, MRI are use to image the soft part of your body, and also the fluid. X-Ray on the other hand, shine short wave electromagnetic radiation through your body. That kind of radiation is blocked more easily by bone than soft tissue, thus bone can create "darker shadow" on the film. Thus x-ray is used to image your bone.
