The whole Aaliyah scandal had me shook the most. Every adult around her failed her..especially the one dude who’s literally on tv admitting that he helped make this illegal marriage official by forging her age. I CANNOT. (Side note: I wish she was still here 😪)

He looked nervous too! But still tried to brush it off in some weird, "they always made each other laugh" kind of way. I think he should be locked up to for altering legal documents and trying to protect the fact that RK impregnated an underage girl. He didn't want to stop that flow of money. Aaliyah even gave him a look as in "help"... but he chose $$$$ and to hide his reputation. Lock him up

At the time he was allegedly with her she was only 15 years....a child. I still think of Aaliyah in a positive light because of her beauty and talent. It wasnt her fault that R kelly prey on her and took advantage of her whether it physically, sexually, emotionally and/ or mentally.

    R. Kelly should've been in jail a long time ago. He preyed on and groomed all of those young girls. I truly do believe he paid off Sparkle's family. The saddest part of the documentary for me was seeing the footage of Aaliyah with her predator watching intently how she conducts herself being interviewed. That let me know Aaliyah had already been groomed and coached by R. Kelly. Also, the adults failed Aaliyah. They knew what R. Kelly was doing to this child, but made a conscious decision to remain silent because they wanted their paycheck. Andrea's story is a sad one. He pulled a Rapunzel move on her - and she didn't see it coming at all. I would go out of my mind being locked away and guarded daily. He isolated her from her family and for the most part human contact. The woman is still traumatized by her ordeal. I hope she's getting the help to recover.

What R Kelly did, is prevalent in the entertainment industry. When you see all these start committing suicide, or on drugs, it is a reason for it. Also it is not always suicide. Mark my words, the heat is coming on Kelly hard. He knows others with the same " preferences" in the industry, and to keep him from talking he will turn up dead. Ashley Thank you so much for speaking out and being honest about these horrible events on this riveting docuseries. I always appreciate your perspective and how you use your platform to speak truth. Your so smart and funny. Eventhough this topic isn't funny. You definitely shed light on it. To all victims/ survivors of abuse.. sexual, psychological and physical. My heart goes out to you. I was a victim of abuse and it stays with you for ever. Everyone deals with abuse differently. I pray for comfort and healing to all who struggle with coming to terms with being victimized.. It wasn't/ isn't your fault. May you find peace of mind and continue moving forward in your truth.

Her parents especially her mother has a guilty conscience... Her parents left her under the care of her Uncle. They were grooming her, her Uncle knew R. Kelly and Im sure he knew about his charades with young girls yet and still Its so sad!

Yup! The mother came off as very defensive in her statement, she knows that she failed her daughter and have to continue to live with that for the rest of her life.

I'll admit that I Idolized rkelly for being from Chicago, discovering Aaliyah, and being apart of my favorite movie as a kid "Space Jam". I was angry with Sparkle for a long time because I thought she was lying om Rkelly......I've been to two of R kelly birthday parties at his home...and nothing seemed fishy. NOTHING. He was to himself mostly... I argued with alot of people trying to defend him. Deep down I knew SOME of it had truth to it...I just didn't want to believe it because to me , Rkelly was "uncle kells". I cried watching this documentary as soon as Aaliyah's scene came on. I was an Aaliyah and Rkelly superfan....the darkness really broke my heart..... I believe it now.
