I'll never forget meeting Brian. I was supposed to attend a meet and greet for Korn but the ticket company screwed up and failed to get in contact with me to confirm a time to arrive at the venue. So i showed up to the venue an hour early, and they told me i had missed the entire meet and greet. The show was amazing but i still felt dissapointed. So as i was leaving, I got lucky enough to randomly meet Brian, when he came out to sign autographs after the show. I told him everything that happened and he genuinely seemed like he felt bad for me.I told him i would just buy tickets for the next show. So he pulled me aside. Then he asked "Do u have tickets for the next show already?" I said no, and he told me "i'm going to put you on the guest list for the next show". I coulden't believe it. He had me write my name down, and i put my brothers down as well since he had never been to a concert, and he was the one who got me into korn. To my amazement two days later we showed up at the next venue and he got me and younger brother two tickets right up front in the pit, and we were brought backstage after the show, ate pizza and head had the whole band sign an album for us. I still can't believe that it wasent a dream. Brian Welch you are an amazing human being for doing this out of the kindness of your heart. Me and my brother will never forget it.
That's a cool story!
Head is a great guy. I met him and fieldy after a show and he was such a nice guy

Let’s be real. The bass line is legendary!
Yes!
Absolutely, I was just going to say that. Also the bass line in Make Me Bad, which I'm playing next.
Man, yes, it’s one of my favorite bass lines of all time. This song is just good all around.
Yes fucking bad ass
Can't forget the drums at the beginning that shit hits every time
Every single instrument in Korn had a distinctive sound. You knew exactly who you were listening to immediately. That clunky, slinky bass, the hard firecracker pop of David's snare and funky beat, the filthy, whining 7 strings of Head and Munky, and of course, Jon's distinctive vocals. Perfect chemistry in a band.
Exactly! Your review was perfect - I could not have said that better 😊
I don’t think there is any band like them- they are one of a kind
Nailed it 👌
All gone now
It's crazy too bc separated the instruments do t make sense but they co e together to make a perfect storm

As a black dude, this was one of the first rock albums I ever bought. First one of many MANY to follow!
Korn was crucial for my interest in modern rock music! Just as influential for me as rap music ✊🏾
But what has it common with a skin colour?
as a white man i like your comment :) stay safe and stay loyal to great music ! :) (do you feel bit old too when know its more than 20years "old" ? :D )

Yet they continue to pioneer different sounds yet keep that original flavor.

Korn is one of those artists that aren’t the technically superior one, or the heaviest or most thoughtful one. But there is just something about Korn that makes them memorable and still relevant after 30 years of their existence. Korn just works.
They're not the "best" anything, but they are the "perfect" combo of everything
they are the most well rounded. their sound (especially their first 4 albums) took the most interesting things from multiple genres and mashed them together in the best way possible.
I only wish their more recent work took risks and experimented more like their early work.
KoRn Howard - also props to my phone for autocorrected the bands name with the backwards R
I just think they are one of the most "fun" bands to listen to, i just get a really happy feeling from em that no other band accomplishes.

This is a lyrical masterpiece. It’s particularly impressive when u can explain deep and complex stories w minimum amount of words/ in 3-4mins AND have it be catchy enuff that it flows easily, a step further is when it’s catchy enough that it gets stuck in ur head

"Got The Life"
Hate something sometime someway
Something kick on the front floor
Mine? Something inside
I'll never ever follow
So give me something that is for real
I'll never ever follow
Get your boogie on
Get your boogie on
Hate something someway, each day,
Feeling ripped off again
Why? This shit inside
Now everyone will follow
So give me nothing just feel
And now this shit will follow
God paged me, I'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I say
God paged me, I'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I say
Each day I can feel it swallow,
Inside something they took from me
I don't feel your deathly ways
Each day I feel so hollow,
Inside I was beating me
You will never see,
So come dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me
Me!
God paged me, I'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I say
God paged me, I'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I say
Got the life
Got the life
Henrique Ramos it’s god pains me*
fuck I miss those days, almost every genre of music was so creative and real
yeah, i remember that I couldnt fit myself under any style because I loved all of them so much, portishead, korn, prodigy, cypress hill, oasis, metallica, ratm, marilyn manson, wu tang clan, bjork, radiohead... a lot of good stuff.
You ever hear a death grips song?
Love this collaboration between Korn and Eminem.
2023 seen them in concert when this came out and I still remember when the first album came out and I heard blind for first time went straight to store to buy it so much bass with funky metal guitars etc been a fan from the start !!!
Still one of my favorite albums from my teenage years. Still listening in February of 2023
I'm sorry
Gj man, not you only, am the same, my favorite band since the 1990s
What was censored?
Why be so specific? 😂

Damn this song still kicks. Jamming to it while working from home.
A couple weeks ago this song came on the radio during my ride home and I instantly cranked it out of reflex- its been years since I heard it. The contrast when the next song came on was palpable for sure!
What kick ass radio station is playing tunes like this? Legendary stuff
Still spinning this at work😁.
I’m 43 now and I remember recording this video on vhs and watching it all the time! Now I can just pull it up on my phone whenever. Brings back memories.
I hear it again and again, i can´t get enough of this Song🤟
One of my favorite songs by Korn they never cease to amaze me
Truly is one of the songs ever.
@@ivanstrydom8417 A certified song of all time
@@Andy_77799 really is a song
As far as metal goes it doesn't get funkier than this.
Love it
What about primus?
Thanks to David and Fieldy.
@@bedofroachesofficial4958 Primus sucks! Been into them for 30 years!
Majestic Sanctuary primus totally sucks man and it sucks that they’re not coming to my city when they open for slayer! Love Larry’s guitar work in primus and possessed.
Best intro in history.
Awesome song 😎
I'd argue Fieldy is not KoRn's bassist. He's second percussionist.
EDIT: years later this comment remains as my honest opinion.
That is what Fieldy himself actually said when asked about his approach on bass playing.
It is a percussion instrument non the less.....
Third percussionist. Jonathan Davis sings along to the drums, not the guitars. The whole band is rhythm driven.
you have a point...his bass is so chunky it may as well be a drum
Fieldy's style if defined as percussive Bass
I wouldn’t be surprised if 1 million of these views are from me alone. Lmao this my fav song on the planet, has been for 12 years, bout to get a tattoo in honor 😮💨
Favorite song
I heard this song at a strip club, And I was paying attention to the song more than the stripper.
