After defeating Zhu Ling at Battle of Chang Sha, Zuo Ci had subjugated Chang Sha along with all other territories from the south as part of his domain. He has now the west to be pacified before the entire land is conquered. He will now focus his attention to pacifying the west. He will start off attacking Yuan Shang and claim all of his territories from the northwest. Yuan Shang is the son of a powerful warlord, Yuan Shao. Like his father, he is greedy for power and does not care about restoring peace in the land. He shall be eliminated for the sake of the land.
