Tony from Top Bats has confirmed it’s fine to clean then store the system flat or even back on your wheel.

Hi nice video. I use a system called Studio Pro-Bats. It’s made of MDF . The bats are about 1/2” thick and 6” across. It works well for me.

You could just drill new holes in the wheel bat. It’s easy to drill through the aluminium, just remember to avoid the support ribs underneath. I have USA and UK bats - USA uses imperial measurement - UK uses metric, just buy the appropriate bat pins.

Yes I looked into this but would have voided the warranty on the wheel.

Heartly and Noble do not have a USA distributor. I was considering biting the bullet and ordering, but after your review, I'll maybe look at the Top Batts. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished sake set!

Great review. I really wish I had pushed Keanes to get me a wheel with bat pins. When I get my studio built maybe I’ll get another wheel and def the Top Bat system.

The word bugbear comes from the Middle English word bugge, which was used to describe imaginary frightening creatures like goblins, ghosts, and scarecrows. In medieval England, the bugbear was depicted as a creepy bear that lived in the woods and scared children. *In modern usage, the term bugbear can also mean a pet peeve or a source of needless fear or annoyance.*

*Just say NO to rock fingers!* Sake sets are my favorite, but I'm lazy and make them with only two cups haha.
