- In this episode of our build series we put together a Lifted 2022 Toyota Tundra and fill the wheel wells with 37" tires for the final look. It was a blast to go drive a new Tundra for the first time. As a Tundra owner myself, it was nice to properly break it in. We chose a 6" lift kit by Rough Country for the job. I was wondering if you have experience any negative issues with the frame being cut to lower the front cross member and if you have experienced any transmission overheating issues with the lift and tires some of the other UA-cam people have off-roading

What’s the offset on the wheels
I have a 2023 SR5 TRD Off Road and look to incorporate this exact lift kit into my truck. Running 37's is what I want to do, but what exactly does "minor trimming" entail? I am not looking to transform the truck into an extreme off road vehicle, but would like to have a more aggressive looking, more capable truck for what off roading I do. So back to my question of what "minor trimming" means. Anyone have a video explaining in precise details? Thanks.

Can you fit 37s in a 3 inch lift ? Or does it have to be a 6 inch lift

I just received my 1794 2023, and I want to put a 6" lift on mine. I want to go 35s but do u think 20 rims will make the truck look great? if not, whats your opinion and any link for the lift kits?

Truck looks really high with only an 6" lift..
Funny to me, the base SR5 looks better than the upper tier versions.
You lost me at Rough Country...Seeing various other users share their experiences with their 3.5 and 6 inch Rough Country lifts for the 22 Tundra online validate that Rough Country is still towards the bottom of the barrel as an option when it comes to lifting a vehicle. Great for looks, not for actual off road performance.
