So far, I believe all of Shunyamurti teachings can be summarized into 1 sentence. If you want to enter the kingdom of heaven, you have to let go of earthy positions, and want God's will with all your heart, mind, and soul. Another way of phrasing it would be, if you want to get out of the re-incarnation wheel, you have to let go of all egotistical fantasy constructs found on this planet, and connect with God's power. Shorter to the point, "your will be done, and not mine". And to those teachings I am eternally grateful.

Nice. Some would say that 'wanting God's will' prevents entry to heaven because 'wanting' is something that is done by the ego. Perhaps offering your life up to be used by God's will is nearer the mark - as you later said: ''your will... not mine''.

That's the whole key of Advaita. NOT TWO.
Separation says "not my Will, but thy will be done. "

Or let go of the possessor of earthly possessions. Let go of the one who has egotistical fantasies.

Yes, and the God's will is the true Self's will, it is the perfect plan for you, but the "ego" is one's current identity of limitation, and because it wants to continue to exist as an "identity", even though it isn't real, it will defend it's own existence with fear, which paralyses and prevents one from further growth.

You clearly haven’t been paying attention. There is no such thing as the kingdom of heaven. We are simply god’s consciousness having a human experience. Do good or do bad you are just playing your part in god’s movie so to say.

Joy is when you have stopped from any practice and no longer coming or going but being the irrelevant subject object that does not fit anywhere anymore.

Id like to flat line the mind regardless of service as the desire to do is exausted from measuring up. Ive spent a significant amount of time alone as a egoic Christian prior to dropping the separate self. Chop wood, carry water, while focusing inward. The dread of losing an identity to realize non dual seems a necessary risk. I have great appreciation for Satyoga being able to address ones dream setting per each stage of vibrational cognition. 🌄

Maintaining Awareness of the dream during work or talking with others is a tacit bugaboo. Half hour goes by puttsing and I forgot no object, just sensing and perceive. Mayas draw with supposed others outward fears cause one to dismiss there reality as an NPC petty tyrant test

His way of describing how the go thinks and acts is so amazingly accurate. Often times when i watch a teaching of his he'll speak about the ego in a way that directly relates to what ive been dealing with. Thank you for your priceless wisdom good sir

More wise, succinct words expressing truth. Thank you 🙏 I feel blessed that I have been a lucid dreamer all my life, as I have been taught so much through my dreams and some have been truly profound and powerful. I have also had OBE's on several occasions throughout my life which means that I have never struggled to understand the concept of being a spiritual being /essence of God. It must be so much harder for people who don't remember their dreams, or haven't experienced alternate states of consciousness.

Respectfully disagree. I don't think Ramana said that Karma yoga was our function. I think he more often said that Self realization is our primary function, that real Bhakti is love of the Self, and that whatever our body-self is destined to do will flow best from that realization without effort.
I think it's important to confront how many spiritual seekers have "people pleasing" egos and that service to others can wind up being another way that the ego runs away form the Self and externalizes reality. Service can wind up being conceptual rather than authentic in those cases. Some quotes to illustrate the difference between someone trying to be saintly based on following a concept versus actually saintly realization...
Mother Teresa: "There is so much contradiction in my soul. Such deep longing for God, so deep that it is painful, a suffering continual, and yet not wanted by God, repulsed, empty, no faith, no love, no zeal," she wrote. "Souls hold no attraction. Heaven means nothing, to me it looks like an empty place. The thought of it means nothing to me and yet this torturing longing for God."
"Pray for me please that I keep smiling at him in spite of everything."
Nisagaddata: "That which you are, your true self, you love it, and whatever you do, you do for your own happiness. To find it, to know it, to cherish it is your basic urge. Be true to your own self, love your self absolutely.
Do not pretend that you love others as yourself. Unless you have realized them as one with yourself, you cannot love them. Don't pretend to be what you are not, don't refuse to be what you are. Your love of others is the result of self- knowledge, not its cause.
Without self-realization, no virtue is genuine. When you know beyond all doubting that the same life flows through all that is and you are that life, you will love all naturally and spontaneously.
When you realize the depth and fullness of your love of yourself, you know that every living being and the entire universe are included in your affection. But when you look at anything as separate from you, you cannot love it for you are afraid of it. Alienation causes fear, and fear deepens alienation. It is a vicious circle. Only self- realization can break it." - -  Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

      Shunyamurti's reply:
I agree with your initial statement completely, as follows:
“Self-realization is our primary function, that real Bhakti is love of the Self, and that whatever our body-self is destined to do will flow best from that realization without effort.”
Where I disagree is that I would define that statement as expressing the essence of karma yoga.

The self is always realized. It's what we are.

@@satyogainstitute Understood, and thank you for replying, though I'm still questioning the order of operations, so to speak. In the world of seekers and healers, I've met a disproportionate number of beings whose egos are in self-abandonment patterns and codependency. They're already "selfless," but not in a good way. They actually never built up a healthy "I am" sense of ego in the first place, so they tend to abandon themselves for the sake of others. For this ego type, which I think is very common in the spiritual community, the "virtue is not genuine" as Nisargaddata said, so they're even more in despair because they've been told they'd feel good if they do nice things for others... but they feel worse in because they don't.
For those folks, I find that somehow guiding them back to their heart, the original sense of "I am" and showing them how to honor and love that pure individuality is the most effective. Service to others doesn't seem to help them as much. Karma yoga strikes me as something that would work well for someone who has already developed a full sense of "I am" and is ready to relinquish it.

      Bhagvad Gita, chp 5
Yoga of action is superior to yoga of knowledge.
Both sankhyayoga and karmaypga reach the same goal.
Without karmayoga sankhyayoga i.e., renunciation of doership in relation to all activities of mind body is difficult to accomplish; whereas the karmayogi who keeps his mind fix on God, reaches brahma in no time.
I'm quite sure karma yoga is prerequisite and prior before all other methods. To even discern the Self from non self is an act of karmayoga. To fix oneself on the Atman, too, is karmayoga.
