Men might not cry watching Titanic, but they sure as hell cry watching this. I'm genuinely confused about how you manage to do this every single time. Unbelievable.
Cried like a little b*tch when I watched it. If I saw you now, I’d hug you. Man, that was super inspiring. Don’t you dare ever doubt yourself, you are AMAZING!
I’m not crying your crying! Thanks for all you do Sam, inspiring the next generation of filmmakers. You have truly helped me believe it was possible to do what you love! Love you Sam. Keep it up!
Lately, I felt stuck... I feel like everything and everyone is against me. Whenever I feel better and start working on my dreams, my personal projects, something happens and brings me down again. Every time I feel this way, I come back to your channel to get some inspiration or motivation... or something... I don't know... maybe one day I'll be as good as you
Why do I always have to cry, when I watch your videos? Thank you, Sam, for your authentic, heart-warming, open and honest way. Your way of creating films is unique. You inspire me every time. Stay creamy :)
Bro, my attention span for UA-cam videos is usually a maximum of 3.5 minutes, but I was genuinely upset at how short this video was. You showed an amazing journey, not just as a great cinematographer but also as a talented storyteller at the same time. Absolutely love it and it is a great inspiration for someone being in a dark place.
Can’t tell you how magical it was to see 10:52 in person at the film fest and see myself along with everyone else in the room on screen in our exact seats we were sitting in. Such a beautiful film bro🙏🏼
Wow I’m crying. Such an inspiration man, and it’s so refreshing to see this perspective on what being a creative is all about. It’s always the people, man. Always.
Thank you, Sam, for sharing your journey with us. Normally, I'm a silent observer, but I thought it was time to thank you. You, Peter, Kolder... you are the reason I decided to venture into self-employment three years ago. Originally, I aimed to become a travel filmmaker, but certain circumstances led me in a different direction (real estate, commercial, etc.). Watching your film now brought tears to my eyes. I'm not even sure why, perhaps because one feels they might be missing out on all these travels. Thank you, Sam, for staying approachable all these years. I look forward to many more videos from the "master of content creation." STAY CREAMY
STAY CREAMY!! So incredibly proud of you brother. Know this one was deeper and you really dug into your vulnerability/growth. Love you and can’t wait to see what the next 12 years has in store for US! ♥️
Hey Sam! 😁 1.5 years ago, I made the significant decision to sell everything I owned to pursue my dream of becoming a filmmaker. I've been following your work for many years, finding inspiration in each piece you share. This latest video, however, profoundly moved me; it was an emotional journey that brought me to tears for half of its duration. Thank you for the powerful reminder to cherish and not take for granted the people who join us on our journey.
This was the most powerful video I have ever watched. I have never cried while watching a movie or a video in my life, the emotion in this video is insane! Well done sam...gonna go watch it at least a couple more times
The amount of times that I’ve still teared up watching this even though we have watched it more than 100 times. I’m so glad life brought my way into your life and journey and can’t thank you enough for all that you have done and let me tackle such an important project or story with you. The next chapters are being written and I’m so excited to see where they take you and I’m in it for the whole ride ❤😢
STAY CREAMY!!! Sam this is so not what I expected when I clicked on this video. The level of vulnerability is immense and so raw. You should seriously consider changing the title to "What I learned after 12 Years of Travel Filmmaking" because the real story is your growth! Seriously just blown away.
goddamn your videos capture so much raw emotion and it sucks the viewer right in. You're one of the few creators I follow who drop bangers every time you make a video, congrats on your journey so far and can't wait to see what your next chapter will be! Stay creamy!

Chills man... So powerful! WILD how you pulled off the shot + the edit of the crowd cheer shots DURING your live film festival THEN premiered this final video at the end... One of the most impressive feats & mind blowing experiences I've ever had watching a film before. Hats off to your creativity man and wishing you the absolute best. Amazing to see your full journey in one video. Keep inspiring the world to create films that are meaningful. STAY CREAMY! 👊
I watch a ton of videos, movies, shows, anime and of course your content and my goal is to be able to do what you just did in this video… the goosebumps, that feeling you get when you watch something which is hard to put in words and describe that feeling but I felt it during this. I wanted to say congratulations and keep it up. I know I’m not the only one chasing a dream but you inspire people that you would probably never know, but just know you are.
Hey Sam. It's been super cool watching you journey from a tryhard to possibly the most genuine youtuber I've ever seen. I love the stuff you're doing so so much. Stay Creamy!
You did it again Sam! Probably one of the most beautiful video I've ever seen. Always looking up to you, your mindset, how you see the world and capture emotions. I am very proud of you and I guess I speak for everyone when I just say: Thank you Sam

Possibly the best video you’ve made thus far. Grandiose blended with inspiration, behind the scenes, humility, switching from success to people(which is what life is about) and individually crediting multiple people who helped along the way. Great way to tell your story!
SAM!! Best video to date. The originality, the seamless transitions, the story telling, creativity. The thought that went into this blows my mind!! This is what we need more of on this platform. Keep going bro!
Proud of your journey man. This is SO GOOD, loved the energy, message, and all the little subtilities and references behind this one. This ENDING ALSO 👏🏻
Already know I'm going to re-watch this multiple times in the future for that feeling of inspiration and endless possibilities to elevate video to a film that matters. thank you
At 11:50(ish). You missed one Sam. "This is a story about a kid with a dream", "This is a story about all the people he owes everything to" -> You're missing one important statement: "This is a story about a beautiful man, who has inspired thousands if not tens of thousands of people." - Thank you for your honesty and authenticity. Stay Creamy!
Not only are you a genuinely, hilarious geezer - you are an INCREDIBLE story-teller and filmmaker. This gave Sal and I goosebumps and the emotional journey you took us on was honestly an experience. The perfect structure, held us in suspense, sprinkled with comedy, but also deep, hard-hitting emotion. Masterpiece. ❤️
You’ve been a huge inspiration for several years now. It’s really easy to talk about all your accomplishments and forget about who helped you accomplish them. Thank you for this video. Love you dude, I hope to shoot with you someday.
God bless you Sam Newton. That was beautiful. It made me cry. I think because I understand what it's like to have a dream. I'm so proud of you. Stay creamy! That video deserves an Oscar. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
Sam, a reel of yours reached my IG feed 20' ago and I quickly came on YT cause I felt a connection. So, your 12 year anniversary video is your first video I watched and this is my first comment. I am snipping for filmmakers like you, to keep my creative instincts alive & running, and I'm so glad I'm here. This really made me cry. Reading that other guys felt the same, makes me think that you've build an awesome community. Keep it up my brother 👊🏼 Enjoy life and your loved ones ❤️
I'm not crying, you are! Jesus christ this was intense, loe u bud, and there are a shitton of people just like me, who've been here for so long they can't remember, and who can relate to you in a way i cannot even explain. You're not "just" a content creator, you are not only showing and sharing your story but inspiring and expressing so many peoples stories. You're out there giving shape to an unforgetable journey, your life. Blessed to feel every single bit in this video like i've been part of it (in a way we all did) dispite being so far, yet so close. stay creamy
Sam... I followed you with the Peter McKinnon crowd when you were around 70 or 80,000 subs. Loved the music videos, the studio tours, and this video has done it for me. It's incredible. In one of Peter's last videos he talked about a quote that said something like the the magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding. I'm avoiding creating. I'm avoiding just doing the damn thing. I'm avoiding just hitting record and inspiring people the way that you and many others have inspired me. I mean I'm almost weeping typing this because I needed some inspiration before editing some senior photos I took this week and you gave it to me. Sam Newton. Thank you from the bottom of heart and soul for this video. The feels, the emotion, the nostalgia, the soul you put into this video. I needed. The world needed. Thank you.

I never comment any vidéo, but for real, with this video you enter the hall of fame of best "filmaking" video on the internet 🔥! Bravo for your career ! Bravo for the edit !
You are an inspiration for sure. I was once the guy with the camera, then I was not. Started a family raised them and now at 42 I would like to be the guy with the camera again. Thank you for this video.
Ohh man dude youre the most creamiest guy on UA-cam! Thank you so much for your honesty! It makes me cry! You’re such a huge inspiration! Thank you so much for your work!
Really cool to see how you somehow get more creative every time. It’s really a reminder that, even if you’re not into filmmaking, that dreams really do come true. Keep inspiring !
Thank you for sharing your inspiring story! This comes from someone from a far away country, who discovered in his 30s that drawing, filmmaking, photography, basically creative endeavors should find a way or a form in each of our lives. Everything is relatively new for me, but I can’t imagine (anymore) a life without creativity in it! Watching your videos and your stories strengthen this belief even further! Just so you know this is an amazing film and I send all my best wishes to you and to each person that helps you get where you supposed to be, here, inspiring others! Stay creamy!
What a beautiful film! My son Alex is like you 11 years ago, well, maybe 7, because he started young as well. This week his first video went viral on Instagram, and we who love him have all been so excited for him. He sent me this video of you, because he’s been watching your work and loving it for a long time. I’ve been a photographer for 35 years, and there isn’t much more I can teach him. He needs people like you to take him to the next level. Alex steals my Peter McKinnon bags all the time, since he’s been traveling the world all of his life (his dad lives halfway around the globe). He probably uses Artlist, But if he doesn’t, that’s a good idea for a gift I could give him, Thank you for this beautiful message, beautiful movie, and for inspiring people you don’t even know. ❤🙏
Been watching your videos off and on for a while now and definitely think this one made me a real fan of you! Brought tears to my eyes when you talked about the people who helped you along the way. Isn’t that true for all of us? But you’re gifted to be able to articulate that in a compelling way. Proud of you man
Stay creamy. So, I watched all of your great work and today I cried again to see such a beautiful film of you and your friends. It’s hats to write down all of the thoughts…but thank you that you are here and made this journey and show that all is possible if you only believe in yourself and into your friends and family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! You let a grown man cry. And it felt so good! Thank you! Big greeting from the border of France and Germany! Love Paul!
You are the man! Brother I love your humility and your heart it’s been awesome following you. I’m still blown away that you were there for the biggest moment of my life when I proposed to my wife! Love you dude! Keep crushing it!
This was both awesome and inspiring. That nostalgia feeling and seeing how it came to this point is just priceless. Hoping for everyone to get to their own 12 years. 🔥
Last year I discovered your channel it’s really helpful and amazing content you deserve every thing good happens to u Sam I wish u to grow more and more and be the best 🎉
Wow, this is so inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey, put so many efforts in this video and let all the people see there’s so many opportunities out there waiting for us!
Sam, I just wanna say thank you for being an inspiration to all of us creatives. I've been recently stuck about what I wanna do with my life, and this video reminded me why I want to create films even when I feel like giving up. Thank you for being an inspiration.
Cream You Sam Newton!!!! I'm not crying at all😭😭😭😭 Thank you so much for making this video. I'll never be a speck of dust inside your room nor a strand of hair in your gutter compared to you. You've been through a lot... and a huge respect for making a video like this.. just know, you're inspiring creators like me, no, just know you're inspiring upcoming legends of the new age!! and I can literally put my feet in your shoes cuz Peter McKinnon was who got me into this whole creative thing, who introduced me into Photography and guided me throughout the whole thing, without him, I'll be out in the fields, farming myself to raise my family. And yes, tomorrow will be my awakening day. Thank you Sam, and cheers to a beautiful and adventurous creating life ahead!
I must say this was a powerful video. You have become one of my favorite creatives for reasons like this. It’s the genuine passion and love you have for ppl and your craft. The journey is never easy but through it all even with all the sacrifices made we push on and strive to be great. Your work has truly inspired me over the year and I just want to say thank you. Keep doing your thing it shows ppl like me it’s really possible 💫
This is a really beautiful video Sam. In all senses of the word. Thank you for reminding me that struggle is worth it. You’ve built an amazing life and you should be proud. I am.

Love Paul!

Your dream story ❣️
Wahoooo, this made me cry. Thanks you for sharing your story.
