- I'm hoping to start uploading more to this channel because I would love to see more CRZs online and for this video, I thought I'd share how my CRZ is sitting after 6 months of wrenching and ownership.

I have a 2011 CR-Z EX and drive it daily approximately 140 miles a day… It is a cool little car with some punch and style to it.
I picked up my 2016 EX about 4 months ago. I LOVE IT! I am on the hunt for some factory options, but being the last year its kinda hard to find. My daily commute is somewhere between 41 MPG if I dive like a good samaritan, and 35 if i drive a bit more aggressive.
Great car man it’s nice seeing a CRZ build, these don’t get enough love I really dig them.

A really good and super clean solution for the Bluetooth issue is to get a GROM BT3 or YATOUR Bluetooth interface unit.
It is a little box that plugs into the back of your radio with a Y-harness. It is detected by the radio as a CD-Changer and works with the steering wheel buttons as well as adding hands free calling.
The radio is very easy to remove and there is plenty of space for the unit within the radio frame.
Only thing that takes a bit more time is routing the microphone cable, but you can also completely skip this step if you don't care for handsfree calling.
The only downsides are that unfortunately the song title is not displayed on the radio, and with handsfree calling I have to crank the volume quite a bit to hear the other side.
But other than that it is absolutely amazing and brings the stereo back to the 21st century.
I just got a 2012 Base white. It is all stock and had 85,000 miles on it with ALL service done at the Honda dealer and on time.
I have been driving it 550 miles a week and I freaking love it.
I may do a few things to the exterior but not to much. Maybe rap the roof black and add a spoiler. I also plan on adding rims. I also need to change out the stock radio. But other than that I am not messing with the engine.
The car is great. I love it.

I got my 2011 EX a few months ago, and I've been loving it. I swapped the Manifold for the GE8, as well as installing the Takeda Intake. The intake noise is nice, and as you said, having some more power higher in the rev range is great.
Next up is Coilovers and then wheels/tires. What made you go with the Tien?
I went for the Teins because 1) I had the literally exact same ones on my Fit (it's the same suspension) and I love them on it. It's also pretty cheap, especially for a big name brand yet still high quality because well.. Tein lol. You have to reuse some of your OEM parts which is how it keeps the price low and the damping isn't adjustable but it's just fine for a daily/sprited driving.

Nice CR-Z, I like the white color on it! I moved to Japan at the end of last month and I picked up a CR-Z in black here. My goal is to bring it back to America when I move back. Even though the parts are all from Japan, it's not much cheap to get the parts here than in the states unfortunately...

I really like how the crz looks, wanted one for a bit. But I couldn't get over the hybrid aspect of it. I like the color with those wheels tho looks good.
Do you plan on getting a bigger throttle body? I recently purchased and installed the Spoon Sports throttle body on my cr-z combined with other bolt ons. I can tell you that I noticed a difference almost immediately which really helps bring it up to speed quicker. I'm also planning on installing the Spoon Sports front sway bar and subframe rigid collars.

Hey man, because this car was discontinued, was it difficult for you to find parts for the car? I'm a car noob.
It's still a Honda and while it wasn't popular in NA it was pretty popular in Asia so ample parts from what I know

When you changed the steering wheel did you have to reset the SRS light?
No, because I used the same airbag the car came with.
I need to know where you got the fog lights 😩 mine are cracked to hell and I can’t find them anywhere for some reason
Hey you can just replace them with the 2012 civic fog lights from eBay they are identical, all 2011s had cracked fogs, I replaced mine for cheap and they've been mint since

I would say get the 2013 and up they updated and fixed a few issues from the 2011, bad cat, cracked fog lights, rust under rear right wheel well. Updated interior, led DRLs, lithium ion battery with s+ button slightly more power. I had the 2011 for 8 years and just got the 2016 I'm enjoying the upgrades
