He got that ability from Toni... Toni onced said that the staff thought ahe was not paying attention but she sais she's like that sometime... Not paying attention but actually she's listening...
For me in a teacher's perspective, teaching a 2 years old and he was able to say alot of words plus he remeber two in mandarin is a big big achievement. I don't agree that Seve is not participating. He is! A very smart and cute guy. Good job Lao sher (not sure with the spelling haha) and good job Seve 🌟 for you. 💖

Try talking to Seve in full chinese like what you are doing right now Penelope. But you have to be consistent until you two will communicate casually in chinese. He'll be fluent faster. Like every time you see him, you talk in chinese, not in any other language.
For example you talk in Chinese, his father in english and tagalog with toni. By the age of 3 or 4 he will be fluent with 3 language.
P.s. this is in reference with the korean show the return of superman. Naeun is 3 years old and she's already fluent with 4 language.

Seve can grasp Mandarin if you talk to him and teach him to answer you in Mandarin too.. Child at his age can easily pick every word and they learn fast.. Just dont confuse him po. If you will talk to him in Mandarin, then just talk in Mandarin para po kapag nakikita ka niya alam niya na Mandarin yung language na sasabihin niya.. Wag pong paghaluin ang 2,3 or more languages sa pagkausap sa kanya. It might lead him to language confusion and he might stop talking kapag ganun..
