I started learning Chinook wawa over the internet around 15 years ago when I was messing around on the internet and unemployed ... probably, because I never had any use for the language I forgot it quickly and just some words remain .... it's interesting to hear it for the first time spoken now when better internet is available and not those dial up phone connected modems
Chinook Wawa is still very respected, taught and still used all around my tribe (in the Pacific Northwest)
