Nice to meet you today! Fascinating watching the police and giant tow truck with a crane pull the car out. Looking forward to Part 2. Very exciting discovery! Good work.
Well done. good story. looks like a VW Jetta. good that you got the video pictures before the police divers broke the windows as seen on the tow truck now on BlogTo
looks like an old honda civic? Or a Neon?? Maybe? It is super weird that the windows are all closed!!! IS THERE A DB IN THERE???? I bet they drove/pushed it into the water when it was still the motels - lotsa not-so-leagl stuff going on down there at the time. PART 2 PLS.
Looks to me like a Civic SiR. They would have been a highly sought-after hatch around that time. I'm no expert though. Can't wait to find out the story with this one
I'm pretty sure it's a 1991 Honda Civic Si hatchback. Probably driven into the water as an insurance scam. I grew up not too far from the area and there were a lot of car thefts in the 90s from young people just wanting to joyride, so this could be the other possibility.
So where the car entered the water was very obviously once a boat ramp. You can see on streetview at 5:15 that the city curbs and infrastructure shows the road used to lead down to the water, also you can see the exposed stones that boat ramps often require for vehicles to get traction coming up the ramp. It's been disused and the area redeveloped, but yeah, totally sent the car down the old ramp in the 1990s. There are UA-cam channels dedicated to pulling long-submerged cars from active boatramps across the continent, so it's actually pretty common.
If it was 25 years ago; the driveway you showed in your videos was a boat launch and it would have been easy to drive right in the water and in winter onto ice.
An article was just released on May 13, and you guessed it, this car was reported stolen 25 years ago, and the Toronto Police Service removed the car just a few days after this video aired.
I walk past this every day and I've never been able to see it. That's interesting, I hope you find out what happened. People do love to leave their trash in that park lol.
Part 2 is in the works amigo. The content cant be takin because the car is gone and I documented the whole thing... start to finish , also if Spydah is your first name you deff SLAY
@@laughingtime_ that's amazing! I can't wait to see the rest of it! LOLL 🤣🤣 unfortunately Spydah is not my first name but it might as well be 😅 if you check out my tiktok Spydah_ramsingh you'll see how I got the nick name
Mystery solved! In the neighbourhood fb discussion group, a woman admitted it was her car, and chided her friend for "bringing back bad memories." There won't be a dead body, because police already knew about this sunken car, and if there was a crime involved, it would've been pulled up years ago for investigation. Maybe the car's brakes failed or some other mechanical glitch or human error occurred, but it's not a murder scene or other tragedy. But good work, Encyclopedia Brown, boy detective! 🤣
go to map.toronto.ca/maps/map.jsp?app=TorontoMaps_v2 and you can have access to the satellite view in 2005. :) the car was there to, and effectively, there were less trees to block the access of the water.
Can't wait for the part 2

hey, it's a 92-95 civic non Si no sunroof. I need parts off that thing lol
@@fart_cannon true I just saw the tow truck picture of it pulled out of the water and it's rounder than the 91 model....92-95.
Probably drove out onto the ice in winter by accident, parked it and it went through.
boy, very interesting me here in Portugal to be intrigued by this.
Patiently waiting for part two...
Sorry amigo work has been crazy! Im Almost done!!
Nice find J, killer video too. Any idea when they are gonna pull it out ?

Thin ice would be an ideal way to get the car in that position.
An article was just released on May 13, and you guessed it, this car was reported stolen 25 years ago, and the Toronto Police Service removed the car just a few days after this video aired.
They pulled it out this morning.... good deceive work!
Doesn't surprise me all that much that divers never found it. That would be a shitty place to dive.
Someone call SVU and get Olvia working on this..
Okay.. that must've been there for a while maybe early 2000s its a 92-95 civic hatchback.
Waiting for part 2.
Need part 2 now!
May the mystery of this car become uncovered.
I walk past this every day and I've never been able to see it. That's interesting, I hope you find out what happened. People do love to leave their trash in that park lol.
Me too
Police already knew about it.
Fuck, thought noone would find my rusty beater from 2012!
So this was like 2 years ago so where is part two what happened to the rest of the story?????
Part two is up. Check my profile / videos
Wait... does that mean there’s a decaying body in there? 😳
ha ha new fan!
PARK FOR 10 YEARS GET ONE TICKET
I saw a Pig Fish go by the car with a by-law officers uniform on, so there is the the culprit that left the parking ticket.
Call the cops let them dig it up
They already know about it.

Except the person you say “admitted it was her car” was 100% joking..
