Hi I'm new to your channel and I'm here for a reason I'm a tech guy and I've never encountered such a more confusing product in my life this thing is so confusing to use and so weird I don't know what works to use I just received my 3 days ago and I still can't figure it out I understand that you keep it plugged in it's not a wireless speaker what I thought it was I thought the blue light stays on all the time like I thought it didn't like the show every time the speaker the blue lights always on but the blue light doesn't stay on all the time so that's something I thought. And and then on top of that there's a million other things in the menu that go along with it I mean this thing is just way too much I just wanted a Bluetooth speaker not a freaking time machine!????

I don’t know how to dot I know ur not gonna respond but when I click chose which device I have it only gives me the option of a echo dot and shows a pic of the 3rd generation and magically I went to a purple light and asked me for connect wifi but I still didn’t have it in my devices thing on the app

It's a pity that as soon as my phone screen goes off alexa stops and only answers when I press home button on my phone which is very annoying.

Do u have to have Amazon app and Amazon account emails the same as alexa app account to be able to down load alexa bc it's not downloading the alexa app

Hi. What if I'm on my desktop listening to a zoom meeting? Can I use the echo dot as a speaker for my computer?
I have the device for some reason my Wi-Fi network doesn't show up do the Alexa app.
My vouter is plugged in and everything and all my other devices is connecting to it so why when the echo. connect or find my Wi-Fi network? Do I need another Alexa device to connect?

And if anyone knows how to keep the blue light on Just for aesthetic purposes can you please let me know I can't believe we're in 2021 and this is a brand new product that just came out there would be an easy setting for in the settings menu to keep the blue light on because you know everyone's going to want that because it looks cool but no it's just for notifications and stuff like that but does anybody know a way around that I would appreciate it thank you

Just purchased a new Gen 4 echo because the Dot I still have does not connect to my wireless network, even though the two iPhone and 1 iPad I have work perfect on the same network.
Can you download the Alexa app on iPhone???
Do you need a smart phone to set up the Echo Dot? My neighbour wants me to set his Dot up for him. He has Wi Fi BUT he does not have a smart phone.

How do you play music on the speaker because mine isn’t allowing me too
Mine makes me connect to amazon wifi which turns off internet connection. Then I get the option to pick my home wifi and when I enter my wifi password it tells me it can't connect and to try again. Have tried everything for the past 2 hours. No luck :(

@@belaryan9606 turns out my phone was the issue as i read that Xiaomi phones can have this connectivity problems. I set up my echo from scratch with my laptop and it worked immediately! 😁 Once it's set up, it remains connected, even on your phone not to worry :) hopefully works for you too!!

I'm just getting a blank, screen in the app. lol. It's absurd how hard this continues to be to this day. You might have to reboot your phone after installing the app. 7/2/2022

Man the “more” option doesn’t exist anywhere in the app, I don’t know why everyone in every video I search for in UA-cam has a different interface in the app, because in mine it literally doesn’t exist

I just crushed my amazon echo with my own fist 👊 your instructions worked perfectly but I didn't like the sound quality :-) 😀 now I don't have to listen to it hissing at me.
