    So stupid how other piano youtubers have so many more subscribers and ramble so much irrelevant information, while this guy keeps it clear, short and very informative. The video also looks really professional, tysm!

    It’s amazing how he’s still replying months later. I loved the vid. Super helpful. I’ve seen some piano chord vids where they use this 1-2-5 embellishments while demonstrating a simple chord progressions and they never mention it.

I consider myself a You Tube lesson expert for better or worse because I travel for work but this is on a very short list of the best. Always exciting to get home and run to the keyboard to practice the lessons.

      Hi, after playing the inverted chords, you can still play the 1-2-5 in the root position as this is only an embellishment

    hello sir, i have a question regarding the "1-5" of the proceeding chord.....do u mean 1-5 of the chord that is coming next or 1-5 of the chord you are currently on? so lets say you are on the C chord and you want to move to the F chord....will i play 1-5 (c-g) of the chord or do i play 1-5(F-c) of the F chord?

  • @PackPiano33
    @PackPiano33 Рік тому

    If I was minor scale lover, would I just play the 1-4-5 before going to the next chord? It seems like you are just taking a few notes from the major pentatonic and moving to the next chord?

  • @chmendez
    @chmendez 3 роки тому +1

    Just to confirm. By 1-2-5 you mean using the 1st, the 2nd and the 5th of the scale for which the chord would be the tonic, before moving to the next chord (which in the progression you are using would the V) So in your example, using C# Major, before moving to G#(same as Ab), you play C#, D# and G#. Sorry if the question seems obvious I just want to be sure.

    Thank you, love your videos!! I've been stuck playing simple chords for a while, this really helped! Just some feedback: 1) might be easier for viewers if you stick to 1 or 2 easier keys for demonstration; 2) Can you make a video of how to accompany a whole song - e.g. how to build up in 1st verse, and then play with more energy in the chorus, how to accompany in transitions between chorus and verses etc. ?? Thank you!!!!
