So stupid how other piano youtubers have so many more subscribers and ramble so much irrelevant information, while this guy keeps it clear, short and very informative. The video also looks really professional, tysm!
It’s amazing how he’s still replying months later. I loved the vid. Super helpful. I’ve seen some piano chord vids where they use this 1-2-5 embellishments while demonstrating a simple chord progressions and they never mention it.
No wonder i've never subscribed other youtube channels that have piano tutorials, this one's the first one and i really feel much ok, I'm just keeping on learning in proffessional way than how i was playing like a wiered guy who knows nothing. Thank you bro for this tutorials, am starting to sound better. God Add you more ideas, thanks for helping us in this learning ideas.
You are indeed the UA-cam teacher I have been looking for, I can now forget about the rest cuz they just go on and on wanting to show you how good they are and forget they came to make you be better, God bless you sir
Found this site about 3 weeks ago and have been watching these lessons every night. I consider myself a You Tube lesson expert for better or worse because I travel for work but this is on a very short list of the best. Always exciting to get home and run to the keyboard to practice the lessons.
Thank you Kingsley, this is one of the most effective and enjoyable UA-cam piano lessons I’ve watched. I’m having great fun practicing this. I have one question please, I’ve been learning this chord progression using inversion, can these techniques be applied when using inversions? A video demonstration of this would be awesome!
Wspaniałe, że trafiłam na Twój kanał, dzięki Twoim lekcjom, zrobię duży krok na przód w mojej grze na pianinie. Dziękuję bardzo i pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski
Omg you're the best thank u!!! I'm a mom ang i'm trying to learn piano for my baby girl since I know i can't afford piano lessons for her. You helped me with this! GOD BLESS

You are the best tutor I have ever met And your courses on udemy are the best I just got mine And I think everyone must use your courses to learn the piano❤️🔥
hello sir, i have a question regarding the "1-5" of the proceeding chord.....do u mean 1-5 of the chord that is coming next or 1-5 of the chord you are currently on? so lets say you are on the C chord and you want to move to the F chord....will i play 1-5 (c-g) of the chord or do i play 1-5(F-c) of the F chord?
If I was minor scale lover, would I just play the 1-4-5 before going to the next chord? It seems like you are just taking a few notes from the major pentatonic and moving to the next chord?
Haha I saw you were checking your time. Your professionalism is top notch. Also: I know u are Ghanaian. Do you teach piano lessons? I can play already but not soo good and I want to take it to the next level.
Just to confirm. By 1-2-5 you mean using the 1st, the 2nd and the 5th of the scale for which the chord would be the tonic, before moving to the next chord (which in the progression you are using would the V) So in your example, using C# Major, before moving to G#(same as Ab), you play C#, D# and G#. Sorry if the question seems obvious I just want to be sure.
Thank you, love your videos!! I've been stuck playing simple chords for a while, this really helped! Just some feedback: 1) might be easier for viewers if you stick to 1 or 2 easier keys for demonstration; 2) Can you make a video of how to accompany a whole song - e.g. how to build up in 1st verse, and then play with more energy in the chorus, how to accompany in transitions between chorus and verses etc. ?? Thank you!!!!
So stupid how other piano youtubers have so many more subscribers and ramble so much irrelevant information, while this guy keeps it clear, short and very informative. The video also looks really professional, tysm!

Thank you! this is the first video i've seen that explains this. What if you're playing an inversion of the chord? do you still do 1-2-5?
Hi, after playing the inverted chords, you can still play the 1-2-5 in the root position as this is only an embellishment

I have a question: what if the chord you are playing on is inverted, do you hit the root 5th chord or the inverted 5th?
hello From Philippines. I really like how you teach in your video. If it's ok can i ask what is your video editor? or application in your laptop?
Thanks June. My video editor is Adobe Premiere Pro.

Finally someone who teaches well and doesn't take 15mins for 1 technique
