It's good to see Kenny Lovelace upfront tucked into the piano, absolutly no way he's gonna take a piano stool to the knee's there, wise move Kenny, he's been with Jerry Lee since around 1967 right up to 2022, he could tell a good Jerry lee story but he ain't talking, that's love....fun fact, Jerry Lee's sister Linda Gail was married to Kenny Lovelace at one point, It must have been tough being Linda Lovelace back in the 70s.

I played a week with Jerry Lee in 1979 at the Garrick Club, ,Leigh, Lancs, England. What a guy. He ordered a steak in the hotel and they brought him a standard 8 oz sirloin. He shouted "Hey, what the hell is that, a sliver of bacon? What kind of a country is this? I ordered a steak and it's gotta be at least a 32 ouncer." The 8 ounce one was removed and after half an hour they brought the biggest steak I've ever seen and Jerry ate the lot. Lots of laughs,memories and, seven great shows.
Jerry Lee is one of the greatest singer/entertainers of our time, and maybe all time. Look at the confidence he exudes while singing. He easily passes Elvis and rivals Johnny Cash.
Elvis was in another league entirely, vocally. But he's the big beast they all have to measure themselves against. I read it all the time, everyone is better than Elvis. That Elvis is the one to take down says it all.

That site is wrong. It was aired in Canada in 1972.
