So, as far as I know some of these "live performance" (I know for sure that Ahyeon's live performance was from monthly evaluation of 2020) videos and "dance performance" video were monthly evaluations from before July 2020, so that was before Chiquita and Pharita joined YG entertainment that's why both the thai members are not in the dance performance video

These 2 Asa and Chiquita caught my attention when these intro videos were dropped but eventually, Rora became my bias. Asa though not officially, is widely considered the main rapper of the group and actually wrote her own verse in "Batter Up".

Pharita came first and about a year or so Chiquita arrived! And you pronounced both ASA and Chiquitas names right! Both Chiquita and Pharita have Spanish names! Chiquita in Spanish means small but spicy! And Pharita in Thai has a silent H! Parita! Which sounds closely to bird in Spanish! Hope and pray everything goes smoothly for you and fiancé! As a Blink/Baemon patience is a virtue! 🙏🏻

- Babymonster stage name PHARITA is Thai word .. It's written in Thai 'ภริตา' (พะ-ริ-ตา) derived from Sanskrit. It says 'pa(short)-ri(short)-ta(long)' and means 'well raised and cared'.
- Babymonster stage name CHIQUITA (little lady) is Spanish word .. Her birth name is 'Riracha' written in Thai 'ริรชา' (ริ-ระ-ชา) combination of Thai and Pali. It says 'ri(short)-ra(short)-cha(long)' and means 'thought of good intentions'.
- Both Thai line later on, in Babymonster's behind the scenes or off-stage stuff, YG staffs loves to call them both as TATA when they're together.
The dance performance was before the 2 Thai members joined YG. That's why there were only 5 of them.

All I can say is best wishes to you and hope that you are well.
The dance video is during monthly evaluations in years before they started to finalize the member line-up. They break them up into groups sometimes to see the chemistry and compatibility for the members. I think that at this point the Thai members are not there yet and they had 9 trainees. Ruka is the one that has the most experience in dancing which is the reason that she leads the dance practices. Ahyeon and Rami lead the vocal practices.
It is kind of a competition but not really at the same time. They all have a chance to debut but there are some factors like they may narrow down the group because of budget or compatibility or if they think that the trainee needs more time to improve. The only thing is that some trainees don't want to wait to debut if they don't make it with the group that they started with so they either go to another agency or drop out of becoming an idol. YG training is tough since it is YEARS before they debut. Well, usually that is the case but Pharita and Chiquita is probably the exceptions to that.
And don't get fooled by the ages that they show on the video. Some of the videos were from evaluations from 1 - 2 years prior to when it was released. I think Ahyeon and Rora's were almost 2 years before it was released. Chiquita is close to being accurate since she joined BABYMONSTER when she was 12 but in the video I believe that she was 13.
Oh, wait till get get more into this moving forward. We have been watching them grow up (they are growing so fast) that from where this is to where they are now, you can see the growth of their talents.I don't want to spoil it since you are on a journey to get to know them but it is hard not to talk about them.

I think YG is giving us the 5 dancers, who were the original 5 ready for debut. This is likely filmed either in year 3 or year 4 of their monthly training evaluations but they did not debut at that time. Lisa of Blackpink blew up the Thailand market into a mega market for YG. Thai members became a must have. The later search and auditions found Pharita and she went into training in Year 3 or year 4 of the group. Someone in YG either saw Chiquita performing in Thailand with Red Rose a Thai Kpop group or she called YG because there is no mention of a search and audition process which Pharita went through. Chiquita has the least YG training maybe a year training at this stage. For Rora, Rami, Ruka, Asa this would be 5 years training and Ahyeon 4 years training at this stage.
