If you’re not focused on “your little tribe” why did you choose to build your church in the University District and not in the middle of Aurora Avenue? Is there a monetary reason?
University of Washington has students from all over the world. And students can take the gospel all over the world. Aurora Ave has a lot of churches already. The building became available and is a great opportunity
I checked out Joel Osteen and kind of get the guy. He is more of an ENFP inspirer than an ENFJ teacher. Teachers often are good at observing scriptures but not great in application. ENFP (myers briggs test) are more concerned about how to apply the scriptures. I don’t see Joel manipulating people for money but he does have some expense things that are hard to verify. Internet is full of fake news.
Benny Hinn? Joel Osteen? Please, please, Russell, do your due diligence on these men, and pray without ceasing for God's word to guide you. Partnering with Joel Osteen would be good for your pocket, but I don't think it would be good for you, or the Kingdom of God.
