Oh no Kristi, I’ve just found your video and I can’t believe it you ate ROCOTO which is one of the spiciest pepperonis that we have in Perú, amazing!!! I cannot even eat one is slight of it. Wonderful trekking
Great video thank you. Congratulations on a great hike!. (pro tip. wear your tent rainfly over your back pack for the first couple of hours to dry it out... ounces ounces). I am so impressed with you.
That's a good idea! I don't train specifically for hiking, but I go for pole dancing classes regularly, which help a lot. I have a post on how to stay healthy on the road on my blog, check it out: www.bemytravelmuse.com/how-to-stay-healthy-on-the-road/
wow you guys, really enjoy the life and mi country ahahahah... i am a pervivan girl but trust on me, never been by those latitudes... congrats and all my admirations.....
This video gave me the confidence to hike as a woman on my own in Peru too, thanks for that! I was wondering what temperature it got during the nights?
Hello! Your video is amazing. I would like to try the trek for my own but I don't know for where I could begin. Could you give me information about the places, routes or where I could find information?
hi! i'm going in 2 weeks! thank you for this video, it eases my nerves a lot hahaha. and i'm really curious about those black tight pants you were wearing (lol), are those just regular workout pants? or is there anything special about them? (for some reason i'm reluctant to wear hiking pants, i feel like they're heavy or too warming...)
lovely video! i was thinking of doing this in a few months on a peru trip. thing is that i prefer packing the minimum amount of equipment. what is it that you absolutely need for a hike like this i terms of warm clothing and hiking equipment? is it better to just rent on location? im a bit worried about hiking books considering my large eurofeets. rock on and keep posting :)
I brought my own gear except for the cooking equipment and tent. I wish I brought my own tent! The one I rented was a leaky one, unfortunately. My packing list is on the blog: www.bemytravelmuse.com/santa-cruz-trek/

Hi trek looks so beautiful ... what did you do with rest of your luggage?
Just stored it at my BnB in Hauraz. They didn't mind!

How did you get back to Huaraz city? Grabbed a cab or something like that by chance?
There's a collectivo at the end of the hike that you can join. There were like 8 of us in one tiny sedan at one point but hey, got back down!
Did you use a map or something to stay on track ?
