I am a uni student from Japan who just moved into London and use the Jubilee line between Canary Wharf and Baker Street, so it was interesting to see this video. I've been following a lot of BVE sim videos for the train routes in Japan and have always been stunned by the attention to detail that goes into these simulators. Keep up the great work QuertyAfro 👍
28:19 I can just put that on repeat. I love it so much. They did an amazing job with this route. Thank you for showcasing it. A magnificent return to OpenBVE :D
Thanks to you and Adam B V E, enjoyed your video just found this one, London Underground is getting very popular, along with Vertual DISTRICT LINE , MUCH APPRECIATEED the huge amount of time and effort by all concerned, as a LONDONER now retired and relocated to west DEVON it brings back many memories of THE TUBE. The manuals on both sims are a work of art on their own
Damn, the sounds in the tunnel seem really well done. It's part of the underground I absolutely love and have been praying for ages to see it simulated as close as possible. Good to see it's been done well on an old sim like this. With TSW2 Bakerloo Line not quite getting the sounds right (especially in the underground tunnels), it's nice to have something that actually can get the sounds as close as possible. I hope we one day get something that looks as nice as TSW2 Bakerloo Line does, but with very realistic sounds for the London Underground. Sounds are very important in a sim I feel and I immediately get taken out of the immersion of a London Underground simulator if it doesn't sound like the London Underground in the tunnels (screeching, electric sparking, just overall very loud). Will definitely give this a playthrough after seeing this video.
Good video. I played BVE a few years ago on my windows 98se pc. Couldn't transfer it to my Windows 7 (not compatible) so haven't played it since. But I tweaked the program to make it a bit more realistic, cabling, adverts, train sounds etc. and corrected some of the scenery errors. As for stopping on the mark, it has to be visible through the side window but the outside view should have been corrected by the programmers to make it a bit more realistic. Stopping on the mark is easy for real tube drivers, they do it every time (nearly) and enter stations fast, braking half way down the platform and crawl the final few feet to the stop mark. Brakes on modern tube trains are very efficient. Obviously more difficult with BVE but I did have a joystick on my version which made stopping a lot more accurate and it was very similar to the train control.
I just played this and it’s cool one thing when I open doors at the stations with Platform Edge doors when I open the doors the Platform Edge Doors make the sound when they close

Hello mate. When does this get released or are you not sure as it looks cool. I am a big fan of the 1996 stock as I've been lucky enough to have a ride in the cab and drive in ATO mode between Stanmore and Green Park. I have to say that was an experience so I was wondering when this will be out. Thanks
I'm not sure how to set up the train, making the train leave and making it stop at the station. Also the alarms pop up all the time and I have trouble with those too
Hi there - I know this is an old video and BVE Western is sadly closed but does anyone have a link to a copy of this Route? I have the Train and would so love to do this. Thanks in advance if anyone can help :-)
to willesden junction is the next logical spot then perhaps to wembley park then I would assume stanmore will be the end goal. not sure about driving it the other way
Forza223 Bowe the TOD was introduced in 2011 as part of the new ATO upgrade that took place. These jubilee line trains always had the analogue speedometer when they were driven manually from the 90s to 2011
What's up with your camera constantly adjusting colour of the entire image? If you regularly stream from the same place and with the same lighting, you might consider turning that feature off and just setting the colour levels manually. You'll get a better video from it.
Sorry I can't give u a link but I can give u name it's called hmmsim 2 and u can do it on mobile and there's lots of London underground routes so please respond bye !and try it

QwertyAfro I just played the route! I felt that it was very worth the wait, Western Region BVE has done an amazing job at this route!
How do you turn that annoying heating sound off?
djoufra1000 I think it’s ‘6’ to control cab heating.
ZombieBrain1000 it’s control + e

When the Jubilee line opened, it took over the Stanmore branch of the Bakerloo line.
The Stanmore branch was originally part of the Metropolitan line.

Well done to both you and Western Region's team.

unrealistic, you didn't have to shout at the passengers to stop blocking the doors and repeatedly open and close the doors
Your right about the doors, but not shout at the passengers it happens all the time
19:03 2007 extension because in 1999 the jubilee line ends at Charing Cross
2000 the extension opened think there was a soft opening in 1999
I just played this and it’s cool one thing when I open doors at the stations with Platform Edge doors when I open the doors the Platform Edge Doors make the sound when they close
Impressive given its on a 20 year old sim lol. we need this line on some of the modern simultors now :)
Openbve isn't 20 years old. BVE4 is. And they update it frequently too and release more plugins etc...
Btw that thumbnail is at my local station
JH Trainspotter how do you know
Because Finchley Road is quite distinct.
I'm a train and I approve this video! Choo choo!

What is your most favourite London Underground 🚇 Lines?
BVExciting intro
The motor sounds need to transition more smoothly, rather than the sudden changes in pitch.
(Edit: Yes they improved it. )
Ok
It's not really that sudden
I still hold the audio files its changed a a speed from run 1 to run 2 so they're separate audios
Please play omsi! There are way more maps and buses now!
Do you have the refurb version of this train ?
Don’t think so
Just seen this and I subbed sometimes I upload videos on my channel related to trains and buses
I love the jubilee line
I'm not sure how to set up the train, making the train leave and making it stop at the station. Also the alarms pop up all the time and I have trouble with those too
manual is your best friend
Read the manual in the download files always included in the game
How do you install nice?
How do I put the train into Forwards cause I press Page Up and Page Down but it just zooms the camera in and out, Any Help?
Try to change bve controls.
have a look at the manual/readme it will show you everything you wanna know
There's a manual folder with the download check your files for the TMS make sure your RKK220 Key is insterted

What are these blue signs with numbers after the old stations?
they are suhowing how many cars you are out of the station, for example if you pass the 3 mark it means 3 cars have exited the station
3:17 is when he starts the game
Thanks
@Dadilo734 yw
cool
Is there going to be the same route to stanmore and all the way to Stratford
to willesden junction is the next logical spot then perhaps to wembley park then I would assume stanmore will be the end goal. not sure about driving it the other way
I subscribed in 2019!
What does all change please stand for in the u.k?
that its the last stop and everyone should leave the train
Finaly ITS HERE
Jubilee Line 1996 Tube Stock
I got the joke at the start XD
Looks good, but to make it ultra realistic, they really need to make the motor sounds more realistic and even have the new TOD screen
Forza223 Bowe the TOD was introduced in 2011 as part of the new ATO upgrade that took place. These jubilee line trains always had the analogue speedometer when they were driven manually from the 90s to 2011
I find it ironic that the refurbished 1996 stock trains aren’t here
well its set in 1999 so they are new at this point
QwertyAfro oh ok :)
What does move handle to B3 mean pls reply
Move throttle to brake 3

keep in mind it was going dark and I had no lighting on myself all those colours were probably from my monitor and the game reflecting on me
Sorry I can't give u a link but I can give u name it's called hmmsim 2 and u can do it on mobile and there's lots of London underground routes so please respond bye !and try it
could be something to look into for a mobile gaming series
True
I can try give u a link
Can u try it Qwerty
I've tried hundreds of times and cant get bve routes to work on hmmsim2
I always stop perfect idk why I always come in at 40
Then I start breaking on b1 then b2 half way and b3 the final part. Works for me. Recomend trying that
Usually national rail max speed for arriving in a station (all of uk) is 45 40 is close so this may be why
Nyc still doesn’t have platform screen doors because the there too expensive.
Nor does the tube, except for the JLE section of the jubilee line
Nice video!
I wished they put this on train simulator 2020
Or TSW2
it doesnt work the map and the train
They should make new route for central line
You didn’t use ato.
map is set in 1999 when the line was still manual
Cool
0:09 No? ok.
at 18:35 ur webcam is blurry
Yh dark setting
i really wish there was a version of the 1996 stock that just uses the basic controls because all the expert real controls are really confusing for me
the manual explains it well and it does use the basic bve control fundamentally
@@QwertyAfro yeah i guess so i have looked at the manual i can get the train moving but the tripcock thing is the part thats confusing but i agree the manual does do a good job explaining the controls
@@itsliamobrien3094 Is this when you pass a signal at red and how to get it moving after its happened or?
