The water was supposed to be pink for breast cancer awareness month. I live in the township which is about 3 miles away from the circle. There is lots of history and lots in store for the future. Every place has its ups and downs, but overall it's a decent city. We may not be as big as the others in the valley, but we make up for it with lots of food, traditions, festivals and pride. Once a Rover always a Rover.

Great video for sure, also seems like easton had changed over the years too.
I was born and raised there but moved away back in 97. I've been in Easton couple of times for a visit and I must say a big change since then. Doesn't look like the way it did back in the 80s or 90s. One of these days I'm hoping to move back there, miss it so much.
three of the thing I miss more than anything in easton is fishing the bushkill Creek,
the thanksgiving day football game between easton and p'burg, Plus the candle lighting ceremony down there in the circle.
Back when I was a young kid and young teenager, sure did have some great times and then memories.

My Mom was from Easton and in the early 70's we would spend part of our summers there, The air was clean and the town was beautiful. What I remember most was My Aunts house at the top of Butler St, where from the top window I could watch the giant Dixie cup go around and around at night.

cool video but you needed to do a little research. the circle where the monument was, they hung criminals there and that was also the place they read the declaration of independence and they have a reenactment there every herritage day wich is the sunday after the 4th of july also the old brick building on 4th that you showed was an old tavern and hotel that was visited quite often by Ben Franklyn. Easton was also famous for its "speak easys" in the 20s.

Great video! You missed the Easton Farmers Market.

Thanks! Yeah, I was really hoping to go there on that day but to my knowledge, I believe the market was either just about to close down for that day as I arrived and was a bit too late, or wasn't open at all that day. Will have to visit again someday for the market experience!
