- A Dj Sim Tribute Mix, just because this man is a goddamn Legend !!! I even had the pleasure to meet him long ago when I bought my first Korg Prophecy Synthesizer from him. Sim’s typical sound and funny vocal samples are genius in my opinion. The track “Loud as Fuck (54321 mix)” is my most favorite Thunderdome track of all time. Let me know what's yours in the comment.
Dj Sim aka Marcel Van Os has many (hardcore) producer pseudo’s like Underground Warriors, Simtec and Simtec Power Squad. I think no other artist has so many hardcore tracks released on known CD’s like Thunderdome, but weren’t released on vinyl. It still makes me question why that was. Probably 50% of all the tracks used in this mix had to be taken from a CD (mostly ID&T compilation CD's).

Man, I remember buying the newest Thunderdomes when they came out and going through the names hoping for a lot of M. Van Os tracks. Him and Promo, eternal favorites of the era

@@djsyndrom4988 Not sure you're aware but Mutoïd is also a DJ Sim project (with Guitar Rob). But I can understand the reason for the different artistname and not including it in this mix. Mutoïd tracks really have a distinctly different sound (much prefered the Sim ones)

Hey man, thnx for your awesome response and the outspoken appreciation♥. Digital Manipulation is a great track and my guess is that not everybody knows that it is a track from Dj Sim. It is also a slow track which makes it great for opening. Anyways glad you enjoyed the mix. Share it if you like to those who love early hardcore.
