I watched the TV show Wonder Woman when I was 4 years old and she (and my mom) gave me that "Women can do anything, Women are strong and can save the world..you don't have to leave it to the guys, you don't have to be stuck playing the victim" mind set. LOVE and PEACE to her (and my mom). :)

Yeah, especially since she said she wanted that role during an interview before production started, but the problem WB execs. are not good at thinking ahead and being fully aware of what's going on with DCEU. They just want to throw anything out there and hope it makes them some money beyond breaking even.

I love how people make up things on these threads and treat them as fact. Lynda Carter was never approached and she was never asked to appear, and she certainly never said that she wanted that role. It was always the fans who wanted to see her in that role - not Lynda saying that she wanted it. She also never said that she wanted to appear in the film. What Lynda simply said is that if they ever approached her to do something like a 30 second cameo for the sake of "nostalgia" that she wouldn't be interested in that.
Lynda was NEVER asked to play Queen Hippolyta and whatever she's doing as far as her music career is pretty much done. Even if she was working on an album of sorts being asked to play the queen in the movie she never would refuse. This is her legacy and she passing the torch to Gal does give me some piece of mind, however, I'm not giving Gal a pass until I see this movie.

It _doesn't_ suck. I've watched it twice. The scene (towards the end) where Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) blows up his own plane in order to save humanity and WW loses it (because she loves Steve) and takes out her wrath on Aries, is spectacular. I know it's just CGI, but it's stunning nevertheless.
No way she is 100 years old
