03 Royal Pastime, Rabble Darling

The English called it the royal pastime, but it was a favorite of everyone in the land for several hundred years. Churches hosted cockfights, clergy officiated, and in London, several monarchs frequented one of the Royal Cockpits in and around Westminster.
Like everything they commit to so wholeheartedly, the English would wind up revolutionizing the sport, which we'll get into in the next two episodes.
