What I love about this set is that it sounds like the sets I heard 20 years ago when house was about people just having fun and leaving all their negativity at home. I don't even understand what is going on in half the newer house sets. I agree this takes you back to the late 90's and early 2000's. House to me always has to have the constant rolling base. The more tracks the DJ can mix in, overlap each other, while keeping that classic heavy beat, the better the DJ in my opinion. I find the newer stuff just goes off and doesn't have the same flow. Awkward to dance to I imagine. I've been listening to Mark Knight non stop for months now.
House will always be House. This is textbook House. The stuff they play now is not, never will be IMO. It's EDM...which is really just...noise. Said with love. ;)
