    Dry fasts are the best. It forces to withdraw toxic water from your fat cells. Autophagy is best during a dry fast.

    • @keralee
      @keralee 3 роки тому +3

      Not quite how it works. Water is a byproduct of fat metabolism...and it is the purest water your body can ever access. There may be toxins stored in fat calls, but it is not from the water itself.
      Taking activated charcoal and cilantro helps with the detox aspect.

    I tried doing Ramadan for the first time last year, I had days where I struggled to do it properly but learned a lot about discipline in that time. One thing that was cool was that my body healed quicker. I feel like online the studies are mixed, some saying it is good and some saying it isn’t, but knowing that this is a lifestyle many people follow for a month around the world makes me trust that it is safe

    Dry fasting feels easier than water fasting for some reason. I think water fasting keeps your metabolism going so it makes you feel a bit hungry . The only thing that sucked is I didn’t sleep well and my lower back was hurting when I woke up. He said he takes 2 weeks off so he can use the first week as an intermittent fast, using 12 odd hours for his day light fast, then will drink water after with food. Then the next two weeks for water only fasting, which he does every year. I suppose that is why he looks 35 and not 55 😎

    I get so tired of hearing about Ramadan dry fasting.For one thing most muslims do not break the fast properly. Also,most are binge eaters who throughot the year are not following good health habits.They are doing this for religious reasons.

      Good question! After doing lots of research into the literature, I found that there are *no negative impacts* of fasting/intermittent fasting/calorie restriction on HEALTHY individuals. There are negative impacts on those with illnesses, which is why they are not allowed to fast in Ramadan. Hope that helped!

    I had to give this a thumbs down. You did not give the benefits of dry fasting. I think you should have paid attention to detail.

      Actually all the scientific papers are pointing that dry fasting is much more effective than wet fasting. For instance autophagcy can double compared to wet fasting.
