Thanks for the comment. It's a lovely van for me would get a dealer special to get the GRP sides as children(well maybe just mine have a tendency to damage the sides). Roll on July 4th.
I think it's an interesting concept and hope it sells well as Elddis have put themselves out with a different layout. It didn't work for swift last year with 655 but might at a more reasonable price.
Nice review 👍🏻, I have just showed this video to our neighbor and they are very interested in this layout as there children are young and they can be right next to them on the night time instead of up the front like in our old van......I still think this is going to be a good selling caravan this year👍🏻 Nice one Paul 😎
Hi Steve, thank you for your comment. I can totally see this selling well and will appeal to quite a few families. Again as I said before good on Elddis trying something new.
Like the concept and if it was around when we got our 586 it would have been attractive but having lay on the ‘double’ bed it seems quite small. Not sure I fancy French beds either but still, great layout for a family of 4 with all able to have permanent beds!
Hi Rob, Thanks for the comment. I do hear what you mean about the double bed. I think most van beds are quite small. Our next van will have a french double as we have three young ones so not a choice for us. I wonder if an island or traverse bed are any bigger width wise? I think I am lucky for once not being mega tall as I can fit on a French bed ok.
I liked the idea of this layout when I first saw it online, however having seen it at the NEC unfortunately I don’t think it works in really life, the double bed seemed very small and it was very close to the bunks. Definitely not for us! Nice review though! Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. I think it's a bit a of a marmite van some will love it and others not so much. I do commend Elddis for trying a new layout.Would need a long term test to see if it works for families. If you are reading this Elddis :-)
Good review thanks. Funny that the say it’s 8 metres long but 8feet wide. Manufacturers should stick with one or the other 🤷♂️ I realise it’s a marketing gimmick 👍🏻 Graham
Thanks for the comment Graham. When I watched the footage back, I had to watch it a couple of times to make sure I got it right. I suppose it's just under 8m but yeah it's like broadband and gigabit. Makes it sound larger so they use it. Not sure 2.45m has the same ring to it :-)
