Marco, you are really a great teacher, clear explanations and reasons for the settings.

Ciao Marco, do you have a video where you explain what parameters to change when trying to match your sound with different guitars? I have 3 guitars (Fender strat+, Peavey Wolfgang, Steinberger) and non come quite close to your sound. If not, then that might be an idea for a video. I'm not that experienced with the FM9 and it's often quite hard to understand where to start...

Thank you Marco, your tutorials are priceless. I do learn a lot. This is a great patch (same as your other patches) and I bought it in the past.
Great to see that you switched guitar too to show how the preset sounds with different guitar. I have been using my Fender Strat HSS for many many years. I must say, that I like my Strat a lot. The last few years, I have bought some PRS guitars too and I have to admit that PRS are special guitars too. I just love the PRS neck. So I have been using my PRS Custom 24 excessively the last few years.
I don't know if it is possible for you to make separate patch for single coil and for humbuckers? I buy presets from more companies and most of them give you both patches and it is very helpful (especially for someone new to the Fractal environment). I have the FM9 (since beginning of this year, I was on the waiting list) and there is so much to learn from the unit.
Furthermore, I play almost exclusively in environment where the guitars are mono. So the output configuration of my FM9 is as follows: output 1 and 2: mode = Sum L+R and output 3 is set to stereo. This preset (and also some of your other presets) sound excellent in stereo but in mode Sum L+R, I loose almost all the sweetness of the time effects because they are routed parallel. I have changed the routing of the effects (putting them in series), but still couldn't create the sound as in this video, mainly the pitch and delay effects. Do you have any suggestions how to make the mono signal to sound as great / sweet (or as close as possible) as the stereo one?

Hello. You put on the table many questions and you need to improve some basics audio rules.
      1) do you know exist amps for single coils and humbuckers?!? For Gibson or Fender?! Why do you think digital amp should be different?!
      2) how can be possible mono effects sounds like stereo ?!?!? This is physics!!
      3) if you sum L+R with a stereo preset you get a big mess!!! It is physics again.
There are no secrets, there is only logic 😉

@@MarcoFanton Thanks for the reply. Understood. Was just asking some questions to learn more on how to use / adjust the FM9. As said above, I am new to the unit and it has a lot to offer. Furthermore, I consider you an excellent teacher and someone that master the Fractal units.
Would you advise to keep the output to stereo and use only the left output in mono situations or any other advise?

@@eddysel10 in mono you have to use only left channel. No any other settings.

@@MarcoFanton When you play live and and the only option is to play mono, how is the output config of your Fractal? Still stereo?

    Hey Marco,
    Greetings from the UK.
    Great preset.
Bought all your FM9 turbo package presets and am enjoying them.
(By the way do I need to update the FM9 Turbo firmware to load this Steve Lukather 90s preset?)
    I shall buy this too.
-Do I have to buy the cabinet IR from Vlar..... separately or is it included in this preset you created?
-How is this preset different from the 88 Steve Lukather preset? The clean+ volume in the 88 preset is a bit low, do I increase the volume in the output block?
Again apologies for questions which may seem trivial as I am learning about this unit.
    Please 🙏 let me know.
    Many thanks.

As I explained in the tutorial you can use the scenes levels to set the volume of individual scenes as you prefer.

x88 is based on Soldano Preamp. 90 is based on Custom Audio preamp.
