I work with kids too, and many kids are homeless and don’t know where their parents are, they don’t know where they go after school; they’re not sure of their last name. Really. No joke. So, you are doing a tremendous job.. you’re an involved, loving parent, providing far more than the basics. Your kids look like wonderful kids, well cared for. Pat yourself on the back and try to treat yourself to something you like, when you can.. you’re doing an incredible job !!

Like you, I have given up my personal life to make sure my child has everything he needs from me, as I also work at a demanding job. He is currently at uni, doing a Masters degree. I have so many positive thoughts to share! I am 42 and I have a 22 and 14 year old young men. I have always been a single mom. So everything you talk about is so relatable. I have learned and evolved so much as a parent. I know it’s hard and at the end of the day who takes care of us? We are mothers, but we are women first. Sometimes we are just too tired to take care of our physical and emotional health. However, we do what we have to do and make a way out of no way by the Grace of God! I encourage you to do something for you each day to nurture yourself! Side note: I love that baby boy has a joy of reading.
I was raised by my amazing, divorced Mom in a one bedroom apartment. Even at a very young age, I knew how much she sacrificed and did for us! She gave me the bedroom & slept on a pull-out sofa, which must have been so hard on her back!! Home cooked meals every day, fresh fruit, clean apartment. You’d never know how financially poor we were because of how she kept it so clean & how she decorated! I have so much love & respect for single Moms!! It’s the hardest, but best, job being a Mother, single or married! We all love your content, no matter what it is! I’m unable to have children but God blessed me and made me a Mommy anyway, albeit a Doggie Mom, and I’m so grateful! 🐕 If you want some content ideas, you can do “Meals on a Budget”, “Time Management”, “Cleaning Hacks”, “How to Stretch Meals”, just to name a few! What a lovely video thank you. My daughter is now 20, she started uni last Sept. I felt like this quite a bit when she was younger, I am married but my hubby is very ill so I brought her up by myself physically. It is hard, you do feel like you need a break at times, it's hard cause your doing it well. My daughter has said in the past she appreciated my time, we live by the sea in the UK and spent many years with the dog on the beach. You are doing a fantastic job with your kids, a lovely home, hot meal at then end of the day, love and support. Your voice is so comforting to listen to. Single mothers are awesome 💖💖💖
Hi Meek, you are telling the truth. I was raised by a single mom and suffered a lot of abuse then became a teen Mom myself. Eventually I remarried and am now a mom of 5, ages 10-27. Happily married for almost 20 years now. I broke the cycle and let me tell you my kids are my greatest blessings. Two of them have special needs which is an added challenge. You are doing an awesome job and the way you cook and keep such a clean home is really inspirational. Sending love to all the Moms out there. Be kind to yourselves and remember every sacrifice we make for our kids is worth it. ❤

This healed a broken part of me that has always wondered if moms like you exist. I came from a "wish I'd never had you" mom. Also, your meatloaf looked divine.
I had six babies in ten years. They’re all grown and some still live at home. But at times, all of them call and talk to me about struggles in their life. I have to say that I never realized before becoming a mother that it would never end and be so mentally draining. My mother and I were never close. It is a struggle for me to deal with the emotional part of being a mother and I’ve always been so grateful that I can call on my husband to step in when I’m too exhausted to be the one. I can’t imagine ever doing that all by myself. He was the one to put them to bed at night. He was the one to teach them to drive. It is no wonder so many children from single parent households struggle. I’m sure their sole caregiver so many times gives up. This is why I followed you. You seem involved and not willing to give up when it is so undeniably hard. Someday, they will look around and tell you how grateful they are that you’ve always cared and been around because they will see how many of their friends’ parents weren’t there. Because it has happened to me. Good job, mama!!

So proud of you. I wonder what city you live in. I'm just outside of Chicago. My kids are all grown and have children of their own. I raised them alone, for the most part. Their dad was always a part of their lives, and still is. That does not mean that he supported me at all. In fact, he did everything in his power to work against me. Raising 4 daughters was so hard. I was forced to go to work after my ex bankrupted his business so he wouldn't have to pay the amount of child support the courts ordered. Now I'm blamed for not always being home. Yes, I made some big mistakes. I tried my best to love my children, and when they had their own kids, it was like a new beginning for me. I had wonderful relationships with all of them. But somewhere along the way, the enemy infiltrated my family, and now we are completely fractured to pieces. My daughters have taken my grandchildren from me. I only have 1 daughter who has a good relationship with me. She is the only one who is single. The other 3 have gone down the path of destruction. I don't mean to cast a shadow on this wonderful video of you and your beautiful family. I just want you to know that sometimes it's better when no one else is involved in your lives. Just like satan, they can set out to steal, kill, and destroy. My parents were such as these, as well. I do know the Lord, and if not for Him, I would be dead and in hell, for sure. Only my single daughter knows Jesus. She is the only support I have. Don't get me wrong. I love all of my girls. While we were all still together as a family, God gave me the opportunity to share His Gospel with most of my grandchildren. I have 9 and 1 step granddaughter. This is, by far, the most trying time of my life. I'm almost 70 years old. Yay, for the golden years! But, the Lord strengthens me. I send my kids videos all the time about end times, those times were in now, and how they need to come to Jesus. They never respond. So, cherish your kids, keep them from the world as much as you can and be grateful there's no one of significance that can pull them away from you. Be sure of your salvation and lead your children in righteousness. I'm not done for yet and have faith in my God to bring my family out of the darkness and into a right relationship with Him. You are spot on! It's not easy with two parents much less one! And for mother's especially. We do a lot that's sometimes not acknowledged as work.plus we tend to worry more. We are planners, medical professionals (having a sick kid at home, we don't sleep at nights, we stay up and check on them continuously throughout the night), We are Chefs (gotta get the food in),. We are teachers, tutors (that homework ain't no joke. It's like it's sent home for us multiply by the number of kids). We go through kindergarten through 12th grade several times over. We are Detectives (need I say more? 😂. We are Therapists (keeping up with our children's mental health, encouraging them). We are Housekeepers, cleaning, washing, grocery shopping.....We are Advocates (always speaking up for our children). We are Coaches. We are Drivers (getting them to and fro). I could go on and on about what we are as mothers. Sometimes we are not at our best and that's when we have to allow ourselves ome grace. Being a mother is a full-time 24/7 job. We show up everyday no matter how burn out we feel. That's the life of a mother, and a single mother does it alone. Thank you for this video! I enjoy them! And your voice is so soothing.🙏
I like your story today. I had my first at 17, then 4 more followed. The last born a month before turning 41 years old. Parenting is hard. But like you my friend, I wouldn't give motherhood away for anything.

Dear Meek, Every parent, dads and moms, single or together, can identify with what you say. I am 73 and I raised 3 kids as a single mom after my divorce. Yes, it WAS HARD, the kids at school, one with special needs, me going to college while they were in school (it took me 6 years to get a 2 year Associate’s degree) and working at cleaning houses. I was so proud of myself for getting that degree at that time so I could hopefully provide a better life for my family. I was a lucky person because I had good family and friend support. I wish the same for you. Just keep in mind, even when your kids are adults, they still need you whether they admit it or not. By the way, I raised them as military kids and in public housing. One of the advantages is that they were involved with people from Everywhere and do not have biased bones in their bodies!

But my beloved sister died of cancer 3 years ago leaving my beautiful nephew who was only 6 yrs old at the time. We had such faith in God that she would be healed we didn't have a plan jic. But ive been raising this beautiful child likecshe would want and my husband and I are in the process of adopting him. I've only been watching tour videos for a couple of weeks now and I think that you're doing a wonderful 😊 job . I don't have any kids ; so , I don't know if I can relate about the single mom thing , but , I was primarily raised by my maternal great-grandmother because my Mama wasn't able to take care of me . But , my Granny sacrificed a lot to raise me ; I'm sure that she would've loved to just chill and enjoy her grand and great-grand children. But , she knew no one else in the family would help her , she , she did things on her own ; she was in her 70s and 80s raising a girl child , and she still worked as a maid for several families in the neighborhood so that I could have the necessities of life ; a home , food on the table , and clothes on my back ; despite the fact that the clothes were hand-me-downs from the neighbors kids , yard sales and relatives; and she kept a garden every year , so , I was never without food ( as a matter of fact; a lot of neighbors and relatives would get food from her ) . Anyway , you're a wonderful 😊 mother and your children will cherish every moment of their lives praising you for being the wonderful mother that you are. Be blessed 🍀🍀💚.

It was almost like I was watching someone speak about my life in their point of view lol . I have a 6 year old son & I currently reside in Brooklyn NY. Been a single mother for years, also living in the projects but doing my very best with what I have. I’ve always been huge on “ it’s not where you live , it’s how you live ! “ . I love how organized & clean things are in your home because I’m seriously the same way lol . I love coming across channels like this because it shows the raw & uncut . As much as I love interior decor , not everything is always going to be aesthetically pleasing just as long as it is clean that’s all that matters. It’s hard for me to connect with other single mothers that I can relate to because I don’t go out much lol so when I watch videos like yours I feel like I’ve made some friends virtually ( that sounds crazy ) but you know what I mean LOL . What a lovely video thank you. My daughter is now 20, she started uni last Sept. I felt like this quite a bit when she was younger, I am married but my hubby is very ill so I brought her up by myself physically. It is hard, you do feel like you need a break at times, it's hard cause your doing it well. My daughter has said in the past she appreciated my time, we live by the sea in the UK and spent many years with the dog on the beach. You are doing a fantastic job with your kids, a lovely home, hot meal at then end of the day, love and support. Your voice is so comforting to listen to. Single mothers are awesome 💖💖💖

Hi Meek, you are telling the truth. I was raised by a single mom and suffered a lot of abuse then became a teen Mom myself. Eventually I remarried and am now a mom of 5, ages 10-27. Happily married for almost 20 years now. I broke the cycle and let me tell you my kids are my greatest blessings. Two of them have special needs which is an added challenge. You are doing an awesome job and the way you cook and keep such a clean home is really inspirational. Sending love to all the Moms out there. Be kind to yourselves and remember every sacrifice we make for our kids is worth it. ❤

I had six babies in ten years. They’re all grown and some still live at home. But at times, all of them call and talk to me about struggles in their life. I have to say that I never realized before becoming a mother that it would never end and be so mentally draining. My mother and I were never close. It is a struggle for me to deal with the emotional part of being a mother and I’ve always been so grateful that I can call on my husband to step in when I’m too exhausted to be the one. I can’t imagine ever doing that all by myself. He was the one to put them to bed at night. He was the one to teach them to drive. It is no wonder so many children from single parent households struggle. I’m sure their sole caregiver so many times gives up. This is why I followed you. You seem involved and not willing to give up when it is so undeniably hard. Someday, they will look around and tell you how grateful they are that you’ve always cared and been around because they will see how many of their friends’ parents weren’t there. Because it has happened to me. Good job, mama!!

So proud of you. I wonder what city you live in. I'm just outside of Chicago. My kids are all grown and have children of their own. I raised them alone, for the most part. Their dad was always a part of their lives, and still is. That does not mean that he supported me at all. In fact, he did everything in his power to work against me. Raising 4 daughters was so hard. I was forced to go to work after my ex bankrupted his business so he wouldn't have to pay the amount of child support the courts ordered. Now I'm blamed for not always being home. Yes, I made some big mistakes. I tried my best to love my children, and when they had their own kids, it was like a new beginning for me. I had wonderful relationships with all of them. But somewhere along the way, the enemy infiltrated my family, and now we are completely fractured to pieces. My daughters have taken my grandchildren from me. I only have 1 daughter who has a good relationship with me. She is the only one who is single. The other 3 have gone down the path of destruction. I don't mean to cast a shadow on this wonderful video of you and your beautiful family. I just want you to know that sometimes it's better when no one else is involved in your lives. Just like satan, they can set out to steal, kill, and destroy. My parents were such as these, as well. I do know the Lord, and if not for Him, I would be dead and in hell, for sure. Only my single daughter knows Jesus. She is the only support I have. Don't get me wrong. I love all of my girls. While we were all still together as a family, God gave me the opportunity to share His Gospel with most of my grandchildren. I have 9 and 1 step granddaughter. This is, by far, the most trying time of my life. I'm almost 70 years old. Yay, for the golden years! But, the Lord strengthens me. I send my kids videos all the time about end times, those times were in now, and how they need to come to Jesus. They never respond. So, cherish your kids, keep them from the world as much as you can and be grateful there's no one of significance that can pull them away from you. Be sure of your salvation and lead your children in righteousness. I'm not done for yet and have faith in my God to bring my family out of the darkness and into a right relationship with Him. You are spot on! It's not easy with two parents much less one! And for mother's especially. We do a lot that's sometimes not acknowledged as work.plus we tend to worry more. We are planners, medical professionals (having a sick kid at home, we don't sleep at nights, we stay up and check on them continuously throughout the night), We are Chefs (gotta get the food in),. We are teachers, tutors (that homework ain't no joke. It's like it's sent home for us multiply by the number of kids). We go through kindergarten through 12th grade several times over. We are Detectives (need I say more? 😂. We are Therapists (keeping up with our children's mental health, encouraging them). We are Housekeepers, cleaning, washing, grocery shopping.....We are Advocates (always speaking up for our children). We are Coaches. We are Drivers (getting them to and fro). I could go on and on about what we are as mothers. Sometimes we are not at our best and that's when we have to allow ourselves ome grace. Being a mother is a full-time 24/7 job. We show up everyday no matter how burn out we feel. That's the life of a mother, and a single mother does it alone. Thank you for this video! I enjoy them! And your voice is so soothing.🙏
I like your story today. I had my first at 17, then 4 more followed. The last born a month before turning 41 years old. Parenting is hard. But like you my friend, I wouldn't give motherhood away for anything.

Dear Meek, Every parent, dads and moms, single or together, can identify with what you say. I am 73 and I raised 3 kids as a single mom after my divorce. Yes, it WAS HARD, the kids at school, one with special needs, me going to college while they were in school (it took me 6 years to get a 2 year Associate’s degree) and working at cleaning houses. I was so proud of myself for getting that degree at that time so I could hopefully provide a better life for my family. I was a lucky person because I had good family and friend support. I wish the same for you. Just keep in mind, even when your kids are adults, they still need you whether they admit it or not. By the way, I raised them as military kids and in public housing. One of the advantages is that they were involved with people from Everywhere and do not have biased bones in their bodies!

But my beloved sister died of cancer 3 years ago leaving my beautiful nephew who was only 6 yrs old at the time. We had such faith in God that she would be healed we didn't have a plan jic. But ive been raising this beautiful child likecshe would want and my husband and I are in the process of adopting him. I've only been watching tour videos for a couple of weeks now and I think that you're doing a wonderful 😊 job . I don't have any kids ; so , I don't know if I can relate about the single mom thing , but , I was primarily raised by my maternal great-grandmother because my Mama wasn't able to take care of me . But , my Granny sacrificed a lot to raise me ; I'm sure that she would've loved to just chill and enjoy her grand and great-grand children. But , she knew no one else in the family would help her , she , she did things on her own ; she was in her 70s and 80s raising a girl child , and she still worked as a maid for several families in the neighborhood so that I could have the necessities of life ; a home , food on the table , and clothes on my back ; despite the fact that the clothes were hand-me-downs from the neighbors kids , yard sales and relatives; and she kept a garden every year , so , I was never without food ( as a matter of fact; a lot of neighbors and relatives would get food from her ) . Anyway , you're a wonderful 😊 mother and your children will cherish every moment of their lives praising you for being the wonderful mother that you are. Be blessed 🍀🍀💚.

You never know how many lives you are touching with your videos & your words but trust me when I say it’s reaching many of us. I started binge watching your videos because I can relate in so many areas from your shopping vlogs to dollar tree, to living in the projects, to being a single mother . It was almost like I was watching someone speak about my life in their point of view lol . I have a 6 year old son & I currently reside in Brooklyn NY. Been a single mother for years, also living in the projects but doing my very best with what I have. I’ve always been huge on “ it’s not where you live , it’s how you live ! “ . I love how organized & clean things are in your home because I’m seriously the same way lol . I love coming across channels like this because it shows the raw & uncut . As much as I love interior decor , not everything is always going to be aesthetically pleasing just as long as it is clean that’s all that matters. It’s hard for me to connect with other single mothers that I can relate to because I don’t go out much lol so when I watch videos like yours I feel like I’ve made some friends virtually ( that sounds crazy ) but you know what I mean LOL .
