this is what i used to do back when i wsnt allowed to wear makeup still: i'd take one of my cousins empty, used up mascara, clean the thing, put sum petroleum jelly in there and coat my eyelashes with that before curling. slayed the whole day. holy grail, right there.

Ooh I'm going to try this. I heat my lash curler with a lighter for a second and then wait, there's a test pattern before it goes near your eyes (test on back of hand, arm, inner arm, if you can touch it to your inner wrist with just a little warmth then you're good). It's like a perm for your lashes. I'll add this. See if I like it. I'm always looking to have my lashes stay curled, they're long but if I don't curl them you can't even see them lol.
Might I suggest you get a couple of pieces of tape, to put on lid to were you use a long length of tape, and fold over the ends so you have a couple tabs to grip. Stick to the lid or base, or both top&bottom with a 2nd piece of tape on of course a cleaned lid. If there is a need to clean off maybe using a cotton ball with isopropyl alcohol. The tape gives you a different kind of grip on the container obviously since it appears to just be a slid on lid vs threaded .... It's use that or stab a pushpin into lid and slightly angle needle top once stabbed through to kind of give a pot lid handle in the top center. Slightly angling the needle when pulling lid off that once you get the lid to slide off, you can use maybe a chunk of erase to lock the pushpin a bit, &less likely to just pull straight out of said hole....js
I'm not allowed to put mascara so my go to lash routine is to coat my lashes with a clear mascara (mine is from essence) and then apply vaseline on the band and hold for 15 sec then I brush it again with the clear mascara then curl for like 10 seconds and if u wanna make it last long apply mascara to the lashes but just one light stroke 👍🏻
When you can't open jars or bottles , anything with a twist cap or lid - USE RUBBER BANDS they help with friction . Always wish I found out as a kid , always got blisters after trying to open 2liters lol I would even attempt to use a knife thinking I can cut through to twist the cap off 😂

As a Vaseline alternative, try Jamaican black castor oil. It has the same effect but also helps your lashes grow.
I dab a little castor oil or vaseline on my lashes every night. Keeps them growing, moisturized and healthy.
Just use a disposable lash brush and dip a tad of real Jamaican castor oil and it will help your lashes grow.. when done hit those brows as well.

Just a tip if you can't open a jar or something ( it works for me and my mom ) you can run it under hot water and it's a lot easier
