I wonder why non-finalist Afro-Blue got to sing with the Motown Legend? Could it be that NBC knew Afro-Blue got hosed and threw them this bone? Shawn said it the previous week: they had a better chance of selling records than Dartmouth. Sara said it: she looked forward to SEEING the Aires on Broadway. Ben said it: Afro Blue was odd group out because there was no Jazz night. This was NBC's way of apologizing for not putting them in the final. They stil wouldn't have won, but deserved the top 3.
