- ScaleGarage goes back in time! Have a look at this ORIGINAL vintage car and a NIB unboxing of this great Marui Coors Melling T-Bird kit!
Thanks Dana for bringing this over for a great unveiling! Amaz
Ah, that is nice! To be able to open the box, which is exciting in itself, and then get that beautiful presentation of the parts. Now we have BAG A, BAG B (etc) all crammed in a box that is JUST big enough to fit all the parts. Heck, the last kit I bought didn't have a box big enough for me to put my shoes in!
What a blast from the past. It's cool that he still has his original and then went out and got a NIB.
So great! I'm glad we could share it with you!
Freakin awesome as a kid I always wanted a tamiya Blackfoot. But we were to poor for me to have one so my family got me the cheap radio shack rc’s that the battery’s would last about 5x’s before it went totally dead and that was it! Some kids are just delt different hands and teaches us certain values in life
Thanks Dana and back then we didnt even know how to go about painting it but we figured it out . Great to see it now on YOU TUBE all these years later WHO KNEW Thanks to CHRIS .... DAD
Thanks for the the comment! Great car!
*WOW!!!* That takes me back. 22 years old, more into 1:1 race cars, building and driving.....
I bought my Hotshot around then, and I saw this in the Hobby Shop. The box art was so familiar looking, I just assumed that it was Tamiya! I passed it up, but remember thinking "Oh good! Tamiya is doing NASCAR..... I'll just wait until they come out with Terry Labonte and Earnhardt."
I'm sitting here right now - KICKING myself!!!! 😕😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
Had I bought one then.... I'd be able to get one or two fully decked out Scalers - with at least HALF of your catalogue in them!! And, probably have enough left, to take them to meets around the Country - you know, like EVERYONE else is able to do.
And Dana has TWO!!! 😲😲😲😲😎 I'm now officially jealous. Absolutely beautiful!

Thanks bros! I'm gonna let one young boy to enjoy his childhood with my old Marui Coors Melling T-bird just like we did. Do not store your childhood in the basement, let it live again and again trough the generations. 🥳🎮🥅🏹🪁✈️🚁🛥️🏎️
This was my first ever RC...I loved it, I could race my friends on dirt or the street!

Nice one guys. Its amazing that you kept it, I wish I had done the same with my Tamiya RC's.
Awsome vid! My biggest rc regret is selling my Tamiya Vanquish. I want another one but hard to come by at a reasonable price. Thanks for the flashback!

I am a big Bill Elliott fan. I have one of these put it together and its been sitting on the shelf. Never understood why it was 4wd though. Great Video
Thanks for the comments!
nascarcoffin9 - Because 2WD RC on-road cars, unless on carpet, did great donuts, and not much else! Took a while for technology to catch up.
Awesome video, put a smile on my face :)
Thanks!
I used to have a ninja and it had the same exact chassis I really want to find another one some day
Excellent, thumbs up.
Awesome I have the Marui Samurai. Very hard to find parts on eBay. And when I do they are very expensive. Now Marui sadly focuses on airsoft
I have one of these NIB never put together with the original receipt. Thinking about selling but don't know its worth, I have seen a price online but its way to low to let it go for that. but they sure are cool.
Same rear end as the Galaxy, hard to get to.
I just bought one today
NICE!!!!!
that's cool
i still have the box and some broken rims.
Have one over here in europe, in good condition, with original box, has some scratches but works fine!
If someone is looking for one, let me know:)
Very nice!
I got one
