I’m still here! Geared up is pretty good with Carolyn Fern too, there’s a lot of items that she likes to play. Even more effective if you’re going to use stick to the plan and astounding revelation. That way you start with 7 resources and have 4 cards less to get to your items, while saving resources on multiple items to really jumpstart your setup. You could play two 4cost cards (fingerprint kit+hubert’s key for example) and some other cheaper ones with that kind of setup. She is also happy with in the thick of it, since she heals a bunch of horror anyways in exchange for free starter xp (start scenario 1 getting your ancient stones translated perhaps?).
We just wrapped up an Innsmouth Conspiracy campaign with Agnes and Carolyn. Carolyn packing Solemn Vow and Peter Sylvester allowed Agnes to keep firing that horror machine gun and gain stupid levels of resources. So OP!
Played 2-handed with my favorite Duke deck (& Ashcan) plus Carolyn Fern based on your tips from this video. First time I'd played with the good doctor and I tore through The Path to Carcosa (standard) like The King in Yellow was a middle school Christmas play. Thanks for the tips.

Interesting to see some behind-the-scenes at the end; AH is a huge part of the channel output but of course it's just a once-a-weekend-at-most thing, and Travis/Bryn interact with Justin mostly on that axis.Anyway, tsk tsk on not including Mano a Mano (2) from the starter decks, as that's a solid way for a low-player-count Carolyn to have protection against enemies (as you do sometimes need to wander off alone) and is honestly a more interesting card for her than for Nathaniel, who has better things to be playing. Plus it's hilarious.
You do great videos! We are new to the AH: Card Game, is it normal that we have been killed with the suggested investigators and the basic decks (upgraded with XP ofc) during the last mission of the first campaign on standard difficulty?
The last scenarios of any campaign usually can lead to some death of investigators. Not as much as Devourer Below, but you are not always expected to walk away with a win.

Maybe a stupid question, but does the Action from Hypnotic Therapy trigger the reaction from the same card?
It can't - it says 'your other card effects', meaning it can't trigger off itself.
