It was soooo difficult to find someone to explain WHY some of those figures were placed in the numerator/denominator positions! THANK YOU! This makes it so easy to understand! I'm sure when I have more practice I can use more short cut methods but right now, this is a lifesaver!
None of the rearranging of more complex formula was computing in my brain until I saw this video. The cross multiplying is pure genius and easy to remember. Thank you so much as this will help my upcoming maths exam no doubt :)
40 year old going back to school here! Thank you SOOOOOO much!!! Chemistry was my main deterrent for ever returning to school, and you are making this subject so much easier!
Your videos are such a blessing, especially now that I'm having to learn from home during Covid 19 quarentine. Thank you so much for your time, effort, and patience. May you be blessed for sharing your gift with others. You are an amazing teacher. I cannot thank you enough! ☺️
I have a final and was completely lost with how to form equations using the combined gas law and then I found you!! THANK YOU!!! Makes complete sense (love the short cut method). Thank you for making chemistry easy to understand. :)
Hi! Thank you so much, Mr. DeWitt. You made my Chemistry a lot easier. I am able to understand every topic in Chem with your explanation. You are a great help.
Commenting on this 7 year old video to say I LOVE YOU Tyler and you're the Chemistry angel we all need and thank you!!! And I'm going to your website now to give you money
Can I just say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really really needed to revisit my algebra movements for chemistry and your video is very clear. The teacher did it in class but only did one rearrangement.
You are a saint, online classes are difficult when you can't ask questions but you just answered all of mine and you're helping me to graduate a year early.
It's 2022, I am back in intro Chem, which I had 20+ years ago! It's the math that scares me and my instructors are literally speaking another language!! I looked up assistance and this dude is a God!!! I'm like holy shit!! This actually looks easy, he makes it understandable with step by step instruction! I'm starting off rough so I'm hoping I can pull through with these videos, even this old they are the bomb!
i cant thank you enough for being so helpful ,i even joke at my classmates that im part time enrolled at the University of youtube. LOL.. you are absolutely amazing. you are my favorite here.
its come to the point every time i need to study for a test i think to myself "What would Tyler Dewitt do?" then i find myself here time after time. Tyler you are gonna be the reason I actually pass chemistry this semester! *virtual highfive*
im doing the same thing right now. my teacher couldn't teach so i looked on youtube and learned eveything in an hour. i got finnal exams tommorow, so glad i found him.
Hi Tyler, Happy New Year! Do you have any videos about combining equations? I think I understand now about rearranging them but I'm stuck on combining them. Thanks, Laura :-)
Thank You So much for all Your Videos! They have seriously helped me out so much! I'm Confident I will pass this Chemistry Exam Tomorrow, Thanks To you!!!!!
What about moles in Combined Gas Law problems? My instructor says you sometimes see "n" in these problems too--how do you deal with those then when they're not in the original equation you begin with?
I have a final in Forensics where I have to do problems like this. I had to solve for T2 for one of my practice problems and even though I followed how you set it up in this video, I still got it wrong and I'm so confused. I have an answer sheet in the back of my textbook which is how I know I got it wrong and I don't even know what went wrong. I converted T1 to kelvin too
what if the problem is A 50.0 mL sample of oxygen gas is collected at 26 C and pressure of 710 torr. what volume will the gas occupy at standard conditions?
These are some great videos! Tyler, thanks so much man! I'm having a hell of a time figuring this out, till now! 4 more weeks of Chem. Do you do anatomy too? lol
This guy literally saves my grade. Every topic I need help on, he has it. MY DUDE

Is this law applicable in Adiabatic and isothermal process?
He literally taught more in a 7 minute video then my teacher did in a whole week
WOW! I struggled with this so much before. Your trick is amazingly helpful! :) :) :)
This is still really helpful even if it's been years since it was uploaded. Thank you!!
What about moles in Combined Gas Law problems? My instructor says you sometimes see "n" in these problems too--how do you deal with those then when they're not in the original equation you begin with?

So you can cross multiply for combined gas law, Charles, and gay lussac right?
You just saved my life. Thank you like a thousand times. Lol. Your way is the best way and so understandable. Omg. Thank you!!!!
THANK YOU! No one shows the method to solve for T2!! I GET IT!
