- Senator Rand Paul, a medical doctor, grilled HHS nominee Rachel Levine on the topic of transgender medicine and its usage on children. Paul argued that genital mutilation is condemned around the globe and by most global agencies yet in America the practice is being encouraged and celebrated.
Levine refused to answer the question directly, only responding by saying transgender medicine is a "complex" field and that they could discuss the issue in detail at a later time.

STRAIGHT FACTS! 👏 I was just about to say this! That happened to me in highschool, I use to have these horrible cramps from hell as a teenager, cycle pattern switched up on me one day, I panic and go to the medical office practically begging for any form of pain reliever and get told I need a special note from a parent to take a non-addictive, non-narcotic, drug. I was 16, I’m pretty sure if I had a medical condition which prevented me from taking these drugs I’d know. I ended up ditching school during lunch period to the nearby 7-11.
I find it crazy these same people are supporting a life altering decision such as this but a one time Advil is too much. We might as well lower the age for drinking, cigarettes, tattoos, and military too down to 13 too.
Remember you dictate what happens in your child’s school. Don’t let the school district be the bully. Stand up put your foot down. Your the boss💪

Hormone blockers may block testosterone and estrogen etc. But there are a long list of secondary hormones that are affected by the up OR down regulation of these hormones. It is not possible to address all these pathways with single hormone blockers. If you fed the kid 100s of separate hormone blockers, you would affect their normal bodily functions, as these secondary hormones have multiple uses outside of sexual development. Physiological and neurological development is permanently affected

I used to be a tomboy.
I always hung with the boys of my class & in the neighborhood,
wrestling, climbing on trees, scate boarding etc.
After a long summer holiday, in the South of France (I must've been 13)
I came back to school & suddenly having breasts, long hair & sun-kissed skin.
I suddenly developed over night & when I came back to class all of my male buddies started treating me differently.
I didn't understand why & I really hated it.
On top if it, my dad was more strict then before.
He was always asking me, who I would hang out with & where I was going.
& my curfew was never extended.
I was so mad about all of those things & for a while I said that I wanted to be a boy,
like my brother, because he was allowed more.
I'm glad no one took me serious at that time.
& I'm glad that I didn't have some leftist lunatics, as my parents...
putting me on hormones, puberty blockers...or whatever.
I know what you mean... I was a tomboy too. My grade 1 picture Im wearing boy clothes. I wanted to wear boy clothes and my mom was supportive. I hung out with the neighbor boys, biking, street hockey, video games, etc. I never liked dolls, I played with bionicles and beyblades. When I turned 13 I got into the emo scene where everyone was bisexual or gay. I still spent time dressing like a boy. If you wanted to be like a girl or boy back then you just acted like it and dressed like it. No one was going through medical procedures ffs. If this trans nonsense was rampant and pushed the way it is today, there is a strong likelihood I would have gone for it and ruined my life. Luckily I was able to grow out of it and now Im a happy beautiful girl that still likes some boy stuff but am very much a girl. lol. Our brains are no where near developed before we are an adult. This is madness

Sounds like you had some annoying troubles with being a girl. I'm not one, but I have a young female friend (a member of my girlfriend's family) who is pretty close to me, but is suddenly acting differently, and is suddenly afraid to be alone with me (which I don't understand since I haven't ever made any sort of sexual advance toward her whatsoever) and they're telling me not to take it personally, she's just becoming a woman now...
She also tells me she's really a boy, but she's quite feminine, just not into pink frilly things anymore.
Anyway, I think there's some major adjustment to go through, but I'm pretty sure annoyances with life aren't solved by denying it, especially to the extent of making permanent physical change.
Insane that they're considering this individual to lead children's health.
