  • This is a Turner Brass Works model 150-1 Blowtorch I found in a scrap yard. Most likely from the late 1940's to early 1950's. Because of the dried tar on the handle, it most likely was used by a roofer.

While LP are convenient they're also more expensive to feed with disposable cylinders though those are technically refillable (I store all my compressed fuel gases outside my home along with petrol). Those Turners work well especially paired with soldering coppers. BTW Cooper Tools bought many great names made less great and typically offshored or cheapened when inshored. I look for tools built before they got their fingers in those unfortunate pies. Excellent video I shall refer others to if they wish to revive their torch. They're really quite handy tools.

Hey, I've got one of these Turner blow torches that I personally would love to restore myself but I simply don't have the tools or materials or really even the know-how. I would be delighted if there were a chance you could restore it for me?
