    To get the MT you need to subtract 0.00011 to density to get the wcf then multiply with the volume right?

    Confused after seeing this. Was wondering why there is no Inert Gas maintaining pressure in tanks, is it because of your particular cargo? If that was the case, would it be better to have the tank vents open to mitigate risk of excessive vaccum and potentially blowing the deck seal? Also, did not see any form of communication with the terminal or able seaman during cargo startup. Curious if that is standard procedure?

    hi i would like to ask if your vessel has master v/v should u open the master v/v first before the discharge v/v given that you already finished the 1minute pump running of 60-80 bar? thank you

    • @atlantianpawanharyana1005
      @atlantianpawanharyana1005  2 місяці тому

      Yes u can keep master valve open and discharge valve shut and start pump and after around 1 minute open the discharge valve valve

    Great video... explained in a very easy way.👍 .just one doubt, in this scenario we are discharging 9 p and 9s by individuals manifolds? Separate manifold? Am I correct ? And what if we would like to discharge from single manifold ?I cannot identify the cross overs? Can you please clarify and explain?
    Also it would be great if you could make a video on ballast operations .🙏
    Thanks a lot .

      In this video I was trying to explain discharging from individual manifold .. I didn’t wanted to confuse anyone with manifold line .. that’s why I didn’t talked about it In the video, regarding manifold line up please watch ccr familiarisation part -2 where I have explained various types of line up including cross over

      In the cargo line system panel on ur ship (in the video ) I cannot identify the cross over valves .can you please help me identify ...so that we can use single manifold for all tanks ?

    Sir I have a doubt. If we make the discharge valve closed and only the pump running, doesn't the line gets pressurized?

    • @atlantianpawanharyana1005
      @atlantianpawanharyana1005  2 роки тому

      Yes but mostly on product and chemical tanker ships are provided with centrifugal pump so it is a requirement from the makers itself to start the pump with valves closed so that line is pressurised so hence we keep the pump at 60 bar and then we open our discharge valve

    while discharging inert gas is always supplying to cargo tanks,,,vessel cant discharge without inert gases running

  • @gareebjanta
    @gareebjanta 4 місяці тому

    there is no air in cargo tank,,,there is inert gas...and need to maintain oxygen level less then 8% in cargo tank,,,,,
