Shamo, Shamo my folks! Here we are in sunny Dubai but in a district where many locals tend to take a breather from the cityscape. I’m talking about good ol’ Hatta! This place is worth the trip. It’s a getaway for the Dubains to get a feel of mother nature and the beautifully crisp, rugged mountains!
One of the reasons I chose to come out here this time was to renew my visa. It was a road trip from Dubai into Hatta crossing into the Oman border. Boy was this an interesting process that I detail here in this video!
After the fun immigration business, we spend a night out in the famous Damani lodges close to the Omani border. This is a new outdoor resort catered to outdoor enthusiasts! The lodges are on stilts located on the foothills. The views from the rooms are breathtaking and the rooms are beautiful!
