    If you love Tiramsiu and crepes, you're going to love my 'Tiramisu Crepe Cake'! I make this cake with delicate, coffee-flavored crepes and fill it with a fluffy whipped cream frosting. Once you cut into the cake, the cake layers speak for themselves; a simple and elegant finish is all the cake needs! This cake is not too sweet but if you want extra sweetness, top it off with whipped cream or chocolate syrup!

    LOL, I've tried it after a long day of work, instead of reading 2 and 1/2 cup, I've read 2x1/2 cup, and you were vague about "strong coffee" ... I'm not a coffee drinker so I think I charged it too much... I found a recipe for energy crepes !!!! I remade my crepes and clean all my apartment at 2 am by the way (Thanks to my energy crepes ), I brought this cake to a party, with a disclaimer "it's an american recipe, I'm definitely not user friendly with cup and teaspoon...and I didn't sleep very well, I may have missed to spread chocolate powder sometimes" ... it's a great recipe, not too much sugar. Congratulations from all of us!

    I discovered you recently, and I enjoy your recipes immensely. I love all your cheesecakes and then my color ones. I tried today chocolate macaroons and I was so scared to on the bake them the title over bake them. Next time I will bake them full list time I love your recipes. How you show them and how you present them. You said that you watch other people's recipes and you know how horrible some of them off where people are looking for the scissors to open the package or block what they are doing with that back. None of these things you do of course your videos look very professional and if you say that you do them themselves then you're a very very smart.

      Mix for 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until it gets fluffy. When you're making it for the first time, set your mixer on medium speed just in case :)

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood

      For this particular recipe, I do recommend adding it. You wont really taste it. Otherwise you would need to prepare a basic custard to replace it.

  • @joselira3528

    if u over mix the filling, what can u do to fix it and... what can u do to prevent it besides the obvious of not over mixing... cause I added all the ingredients at the amounts u said and it still looked liquid after a couple minutes...

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood
      @TatyanasEverydayFood  7 років тому

      You can try refrigerating it and see if it thickens. I recommend mixing on medium speed just until it's fluffy. Also, make sure the butter is softened but the heavy cream needs to be cold

    I was wondering if anyone used mascarpone cheese instead of the cream cheese? If you decided to switch would you suggest using the same amount of mascarpone cheese, more or less, instead of the cream cheese? Awesome video, I cant wait to make this! My friend just had a major surgery and i offered to make her dinner a few nights and thought id bring dessert as well! Wish me luck on this recipe, I have not had the best of luck with my crepes in the past!

    • @rchallender2493
      @rchallender2493 6 років тому

      TatyanasEverydayFood Thanks for the response! I just made all my crepes and they turned out amazing! I’ve tried many crepe recipes and had not had much luck, I think that the all the ingredients and quantities of ingredients made for a perfect batter! The blender idea was also genius as I’ve only ever used a whisk and would always get clumps. Most of my previous crepes were to thick, or would fall apart or tear when I’d try to flip them. This recipe yielded me over 30 crepes, took a while but I know it will be worth it and my friend will be amazed! Thanks for the awesome video!
