    Thanks for the great info on bead crochet. I always appreciate how you cover every aspect of a topic and make things so clear. On a side note, I really like your new cover page for Must Know Mondays. it makes it so much easier to find the specific tutorial when I want to rewatch something. Please let this be a continuing feature. Thanks again for you fabulous tutorials.

      I never thought I would enjoy bead crocheting till I saw the videos, this is so much faster than picking up each bead with the needle, once the beads are all threaded in line for you. Thank you, will keep on watching

    Thank you very much for the information on how to read patterns.
    I still not understanding what you mean by, 21 rows plus 2 beads, do I crochet 21 rows then crochet 2 more beads?
    Thank you so much again, From Brenda.

    Hi, my question is "How do you know what size bead to choose for a pattern and rounds"? I learned with 6/0 but i would like to use 8/0, 10/0 and 11/0 but not sure with the rounds and pattern what size to use. I can read a pattern thanks to you but no mention of size bead on any pattern, please help? Thank you!

    Question ? I understood what you said when you explained how to read the pattern. My question is - How do you know how many repeats to make in order to make a certain length of beads? Example - I want to make a bracelet that is 7 inches long. How will I know the number of repeats to use to make a 7 inch size? I have seen these patterns, and they say to use, let's say, 25 repeats. How will I know the length of the crocheted piece if I do 25 repeats? Maybe the 25 repeats will not be enough to make the 7 inch piece I need. Is there a chart showing what size beads and how many rows to crochet to get a certain crocheted length?

    You said at the beginning that it doesn't matter what size beads you use. But to get a 7" length from those patterns, it would have to be a certain size because a size 6 bead and a size 15 bead of the same amount would made a drasticly different sized bracelet I would think. Could you please give us some info on what sizes give what lengths? I am wanting to do a bracelet with size 15s but don't wanna start and start with a fancy pattern and mess something up.

    Thanks so much Kelly for all the tips and tricks when reading a bead crochet pattern. There is just one thing I am confused on and that is Rows Per Repeat = 21 rows and 2 beads - Does that mean do the 21st row as usual and then the first 2 beads in the 22nd row?

  • @moniquemahon7396
    @moniquemahon7396 Рік тому

    That looks like it could be done in peyote by going along the length and then closing it off. Rather than crocheting it. What do you all think, is it doable 😢?

    So does that mean you have to string on your beads in that order and then you also follow the guide for crocheting?

  • @michellewitter9814

    Hi Kelly, if I am.making a bracelet I have to string 6 times the length of the bracelet... for a 6 around circumference. Is it the same principle for a 10 around circumference do I need to make the string 10 times the length of the finished product? No one ever explains that point...and no fell short of beads using the 6 times length for a 10 around bracelet 😣

    SOOOOOOO, my question is how many times do you do that 1360 beads to make a necklace to go around your neck? That is the part that gets me. Does 1360 represent only half of a necklace made or the whole thing. I hope you get this, I really would like to know.

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  5 місяців тому

      It's hard for me to adequately answer this question because you haven't told me the length of the necklace you want to make nor the count of beads in the circumference you want to use. These pieces of information make it easier for me to give you a correct answer. The best thing for you to do would be to download the free workbook on Bead Crochet that I have on my website. It walks you through the calculations for bead counts. You can find the link here: offthebeadedpathbeadstore.com/bead-crochet-workbook-instant-download/

    • @mweatherby2968
      @mweatherby2968 5 місяців тому

      @@offthebeadedpath I can see that as being a problem. so I'll try....1336 beads, 6 beads around, at least 18 inch length necklace. Just a general, not factual question.

    Hi Kelly, I don't really understand the 21 plus 2 beads. Having never done any bead crochet it doesn't make sense to me. I mean If I crochet 21 rows of 8 beads, are the plus 2 beads the start of the next row?

      Honestly you can use any size you'd like. If you are learning a size 8 seed bead works great!
