I love when you go like "short answer" and just vomit out informations. Because often, that is just enough! And I can leave the video open when I still have some questions left!
Thanks for that! You have no idea how much you helped me already

props to keep making videos. Wish you could collab with Jazzy again so you'd get a boost in viewers 😊

Amazing timing, I was literally about to start a shot with sparkling stars and was wondering if it was time I should learn about particles :D

The fact this is specifically the first example is pretty good lol.

Very amazing content. Thank you so much! Though the bg music is distracting. The sharp jingle sounds are too attention seeking. I suggest you to go with soft and low pitched background music.

Is it possible to control particle behaviour on every frame using code? For example, if I’d like to orient the particle to the vector of its motion. Saving variables and reading properties of other drawings would be awesome as well. However, something tells me that Harmony users can only dream about such richness.

Hmmmmm. Probably not THAT level of richness. But every property can be scripted and talk to each other. So it would be very fascinating to explore the depths of what your suggesting

@@OnionSkin Still not bad. I have a little challenge for you. My team had to make a rainy scene. And we ended up using Maya scripts for that-not Harmony, because we wanted the splashes to match the droplets hitting the ground. The setup was quite simple.
      The following sequence of images.
      1. droplet #1
      2. droplet #2
      3. droplet #3
      4. droplet #1 splash starts
      5. droplet #1 splash continues
      6. droplet #1 splash ends
      7. droplet #2 splash starts
      8. droplet #2 splash continues
      9. droplet #2 splash ends
      10. droplet #3 splash starts
      11. droplet #3 splash continues
      12. droplet #3 splash ends
First, the sprite is chosen randomly (1-3).
Then, the particle moves down (a field adds turbulence) and orients towards its motion vector (like a flying arrow).
On every frame, the system checks if there are any collisions with any polygonal objects.
      If false, do nothing.
If true, stop the motion, change the drawing of the sequence to the appropriate number (4, 7 or 10) depending on the initial random choice. On every frame, keep increasing the number of the drawing by 1, if the number equals 6, 9 or 12, kill the particle.
Technically, due to a glitch, we didn’t kill the particles but made them invisible and moved them away.
Is there any chance to recreate a similar setup in Harmony?
