This house is so beautiful. It has a foyer, it has hallways; these things are missing in recent design. What really sold me was that kitchen and laundry room placement, very functional.
The entry gives access to the home office and to a full bath (when a half bath would have been more sensible), and though there's plenty of space for a coat closet and bench, it's missing. The living, dining and kitchen spaces are open and airy, and the generous laundry and pantry provide more counter and storage. The master suite is huge, with a large walk-in closet/dressing area. So except for the faux pas at the entry, this is a well-planned house.

The entryway is awkward - the coat rack and bench currently in the living room needs to be swapped with the table in the entryway so that coats and dirty shoes are not visible in a living space, perhaps taking just a bit off the porch to add to the entry. Otherwise a very well thought out home. (Although to me, “rustic” is not a term I would use - it has a much more modern vibe.)

Your kitchen design choices clashed in the kitchen and baths. I look at them with visions of how I would design them so you get a pass on the clashing wall/ floor and cabinet/backsplash/ island/countertop debacle. The master bedroom suite is great. I love the closet. Not overly big or small. Perfect size. I love big covered screened porches. Small porches are a waste. Go big or go home on porches. Other than that it's a really nice house design.
Hello! I really like the distribution of this design but I need to know how many square meters of construction there are so I can then know if I can request the plans to build it on my land.
Lol!...Believe it or not, there are machines that both wash and dry. Quite popular in European homes, yet I'd rather have a separate washer and drier like most I would think.
The tiles in the bathrooms and the kitchen are hideous! I'm sorry but the decor is way too distracting. The kitchen looks cluttered without anything on the counters and the cabinets are awful. The porch is nice as it's the office.

Why is there a FULL bath by the entry and office unless it’s there for a bedroom rather than an office? This home is too large for our needs and we absolutely do not want that roof!
